It will. Democratic senate will NEVER go along with ANYTHING House approves; why? They are ignorant & care NOTHING about what is good for America.

So, are you saying that the House Republican leadership passed a "toothless" bill that will not be approved by the Senate, or vetoed by the President, strictly as a political stunt, so they can use this to fund-raise and as a weapon to beat over the heads of their future political campaign opponents???? Shocking.... Simply Shocking!.... Who would ever have thought this possible???

What would be a fair tax percentage? I am not sure what it would be . 10-15% Gross Income and deductions.? I think that would be a good idea then.

Let me see if I have this right. This bill, if enacted, would "simplify the tax code by scrapping the income tax, payroll tax, corporate taxes, gift taxes, and the death tax altogether and replacing them with a nationwide consumption tax on goods and services. The IRS as an entity would also be killed by the legislation."

So, in other words, no more complicated tax forms, or hiring accountants to find tax loopholes. Sounds like an idea that might resonate with the public, and be useful as a discussion point in the unlikely event that we would actually hold a fair an honest election.

I would love to see it become law but it has no chance in the senate
