Too late. The idiots and RINO’s have spoken.
Floria, I think there is a way out of this mess.
First, we petition the new Congress in January to Shut down the border. Period.
Secondly, we must pass a Balanced budget Amendment designed by the Laffer and Armey curves to limit the growth of government.
Thirdly, we must work our way out of debt by freeing up our land held under the BLM (Bureau of Land Management).
The wealth of our nation is our people and the resources beneath our feet. Here is a history lesson:
Nearly half the land in the United States is unconstitutionally held by the BLM. None of BLM land includes state or national parks, wildlife refuges or monuments. According to the 1787 Northwest Ordinance, all new states admitted into the Union were to be done so on an
Equal Footing Clause. That is, all the land between the borders of the new states west of the Ohio River owned all their land, excluding the forts and ports and navigable waterways.
The NW Ordinance also mandated honoring the Indian treaties and ending slavery. The 1787 NW Ordinance was penned in July by Thomas Jefferson and attached to the Constitution in August 1787 and signed into law by President George Washington. The Constitution was ratified in 1791.
Nobody teaches this NW Ordinance in public schools today; the students are completely oblivious of these historical facts. It does not suit the communist indoctrination of our students to view our heritage of freemen and free markets.
Northwest Ordinance (1787)https://www.archives.gov/milestone-documents/northwest-ordinancerefer to captionEnlargeDownload Link
Citation: Ordinance for the Government of the Territory of the United States North-West of the River Ohio; 7/13/1787; Miscellaneous Papers of the Continental Congress, 1774 - 1789; Records of the Continental and Confederation Congresses and the Constitutional Convention, Record Group 360; National Archives Building, Washington, DC.
Officially titled "An Ordinance for the Government of the Territory of the United States North-West of the River Ohio,"
the Northwest Ordinance was adopted on July 13, 1787, by the Confederation Congress, the one-house legislature operating under the Articles of Confederation. This above statement is deceptive, since the NW Ordinance also was also applied to the new 1787 Constitution, reading as such:
"Article 4. The said territory, and the States which may be formed therein, shall forever remain a part of this Confederacy of the United States of America,
subject to the Articles of Confederation, and to such alterations therein as shall be constitutionally made; and to all the acts and ordinances of the United States in Congress assembled, conformable thereto. [apparently, the National Archive bureaucrats don't expect us to read the text of the original document?]
Once the western states take control of all their land, then they can zone it properly for resources, farming, industry, nature reserves, transportation and housing. Washington's Bureaucracies have failed us in land management.
With banishing the BLM, passing a New Homestead Act, and utilizing affordable 3D Printing of housing, we can put our veterans, homeless, newly-weds and seniors back to work to enrich our nation and manage our resources better than the federal government some 3,000 miles away. This is welfare to work, Abe Lincoln style, with dignity.
Everything is doable without the Federal Reserve bank printing reams of counterfeit money or Biden-Bailouts, or digital currency. Remember, real money must be backed up by real wealth, goods and services. Every time we print fake money devaluing our currency, we screw everybody we do business with around the world.
Here's wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
