Now that the wingnuts are in charge, let's see what they actually do. sessions calls for a balanced budget, sounds good, but even the most stupid and un-informed of conservative "economic geniuses" will scream when the budget cuts affect programs they like, want or need.

So go for it konklowns, resurrect the idiotic ryan plan, and find how quickly you lose your temporary majorities.

I think you misunderstood. TALKING about a balanced budget, is a far cry from MAKING a balanced budget. There are not enough cuts TO be made to pay for 3 wars, besides which, Federal retirement counts for as much of the budget as Defense - and they just added a whole bunch more folk to the Congressional retirement rolls. Anyone who has served at least 6 years, is eligible for Federal retirement pay - and you know THAT won't be cut.

If they have the audacity to even TALK about cutting military retirement benefits, Veteran benefits or active duty benefits - again - they may find a 4th war on their doorstep. It may very well turn out to be a case of their mouths writing checks their asses will have to cash - in 2016.

Actually, it is the conservative wingnuts who mis- understand.

Just reading thier replies is indicative that they have not a clue. They whine about the sizof the navy, the cutbacks in the military, they whine that this country CANNOT fight a multi-front war.

But mostly they whine and cry because they seem to forget that cuts to social programs will affect their children and grandchildren, not just liberals, democrats, minorities and any other group they like to demean

So thanks for trying to be the voice of reason and rationality, although the hate-filled, ignorant wingnuts who listen to limbah or watch faux infortainment will be able to understand you.
