If Trump had followed his instincts instead of listening to "advisors" and his teddy bear hugging son in law, he would have gathered them all, every man jack alive in the FBI and DOJ and State Department and given them a two word speech:

The only reason they even allowed this is that it changes nothing about what he did.
It installs a person who has to examine and report his findings which they were going to do anyway.
It's a very small concession to prove to the mindlesshorde that Trump is guilty by his own actions.
Trump really played into their hands. Now if the Special Master doesn't like him, he could wait for his
grand report right before the next election.

So far, not even a mattress tag has been removed, or a late library book, or a jaywalking incident 60 years ago. Had the assassins in suits found any of those crimes, Trump would have been indicted.

I believe that any assault on Trump is manufactured. The efforts of the FBI and DOJ and most of Washington DC are desperate attempts to remove Trump as the only threat to total kommiecrat dominance.
