In the normal course of business, certain officials who have been designated as “original classification authorities” in federal departments and agencies can do so. They are considered to be exercising the president’s power over such matters, which have been delegated to them.

Yes. The 2009 executive order directs the head of the department or agency that originally deemed information classified to oversee declassification reviews, and it sets some standards for them.

This TS/SCI designation, aka “above top-secret,” protects the entire United States — meaning you, your states, your churches, everything you know — from being WIPED OFF THE FKING PLANET.

And now you're threatening violence because Trump, who sneaked out of the White House a large batch of top-secret and above top-secret docs related to the U.S. NUCLEAR WEAPONS program. He lied to the U.S. Government for 1.5 years about having those top-secret docs. Rather than turn them over, Trump attempted to extort the U.S. government, trying to dictate the terms of his surrender of those docs. DOJ met with Trump in June and shared the federal law with him, placing Trump back on notice about securing the documents. In July, Trump had his attorney, who should be disbarred and charged with conspiracy to commit espionage, send a letter to the DOJ stating Trump had no classified docs, which was a LIE.

DOJ was informed that not only did Trump not secure the documents, Trump was allowing them to be moved and or reviewed, possibly duplicated. YOUR national security defense. YOUR nuclear weapons program.
