and who have the audacity to even suggest the only solution is to further restrict the 2A rights of law abiding Americans, and ultimately for them to give up their guns.

As if this would actually keep guns out of the bad guy's hands and reduce crime.
The facts are just the opposite.

I double dare any gun hating leftist to give 30 minutes of their time to watching the video and listening to some pragmatic wisdom about gun self defense.

Just keep the following facts in mind before you start in with the
"assault weapons", school shootings and dead children.

Based on statistical data compiled by numerous studies,
in the US since 1980, 1,051 people have been killed in mass shootings. That averages 25 victims per year.
197 of this total were fatalities in school shootings.
In less than 3% of all mass shootings the killer used a rifle,
and none of these rifles were assault weapons.

And, let us not forget the real reason our founders were compelled to include in our constitution the right of able bodied citizens to keep and bear arms.

Let us not forget that many of these shootings were done with scary looking rifles that Looney Tune lefties call "assault weapons." The actual number of people killed by AR 15s is about one percent of the total of yearly murders. Progtards apparently see these rifles as low hanging fruit ripe for banning.

The right to self-defense is a natural law and I know of no one who is questioning our right to exercise it. At issue are assault style rifles where an absolute novice can buy a gun one day along with 200 plus rounds ammo and the very next day walk into one of our schools and kill 19 children and 2 adults. And if you read the second amendment there isn't a single word about a right to self-defense...and please, don't give me some ruling by the supreme court. We both know that what the say one day makes no difference when you get a different set of judges the next.

And what is the real reason able bodied citizens are supposed keep and bear arms...because some one like Trump attempts an insurrection and over throw of a duly elected government or because someone like Biden is going to force you little babies to drive electric cars in an attempt to repair our environment? Which one of the two do you think the founders would pick as reasoning for the second amendment...1) to protect our government from those who would over throw the democratic process or 2) to give our citizens the means to over throw a duly elected government simply because a minority of this country doesn't like the principles of the opposing parties ideology?

As for mass shootings is your argument that there aren't enough of them to give reason for changing our laws? That's absolute bull shit. How many children need to die on the alter of the AR-15 to necessitate the changing of our laws? And since you haven't been able to figure it out the answer is that 1 child isn't worth your right to play tin soldier especially since you clearly don't know what the founders indented when they penned the second amendment. Democracy (the will of the majority), as much as you have been taught to hate it isn't what the founders referred to as tyranny but Donald Trump, trying to usurp the will of the people because he wasn't happy that he lost is what the founders thought the militia should stand against, not stand for, and the fact that that is lost on you just makes you and yours a bunch of sick little puppies but certainly not defenders of our constitution.

As for self-defense with a gun, my wifes best friend shot and killed her rapist with 4 shots from a 38 special and the last three shots weren't necessary. Its complete bull shit that you think you need an AR-15 for self-defense and you and I both know that that's not why you clowns want one. No, you think you have a right to over throw a government simply because you don't like the ideology behind it even though your ideology never once added anything to advancing this country.

So you and yours are completely full of it Blade. You've butchered the second amendment to fit your very warped understanding of the founders intended. A tyrant isn't someone you don't like Blade but someone who pisses all over the constitution because he's unhappy with the will of the people so thinks he can overthrow the duly elected government.

And the MAGA morons were right there with him and those of you who weren't in Washington were cheering the overthrow on from the various holes that you all like to live in. The second amendment is probably the most powerful amendment that we have simply because simply because it puts into the hands of a moron the power to take human life by the dozen. My father gave me a semi-auto rifle when I was 7 years old.
With 2 years of training and experience behind me, I was anything but an "absolute novice" with a gun.
Since then I have owned many semi-auto firearms, both rifles and hand guns, including 4 AR15s.
Not I nor the millions of American gun owners are morons or mentally disturbed individuals,
nor are we "far too ignorant to ever have" semi-automatic guns in our hands.

Since 1980, 197 people died in school shootings, and you DMFs sensationalize these shootings as if they were some kind of genocidal epidemic.


How about we allow these kids to take their ARs to school, level the playing field and let them get some payback next time a crazy MF shows up at their school with a gun.

1) I wasn't talking about you but the Uvaldy shooter, the Buffalo shooter, and the El Paso shooter all of whom picked up the gun and with little to no training were able to bring about the carnage.

Putting up a sign that says no guns has ever prevented a single shooting anywhere. That sign tells a shooter that they can expect no resistance for quite some time before law enforcement finally show up. I'd rather carry a gun and never need to pull it out except on the range or to clean.
