Anybody looked at a quarter lately?

Look at your quarters. Until last year, "In God we Trust" was printed in front of and below the face. NOW, the face is turned away from "In God we Trust". Also, the newer quarters are either rusting or there is such a sheer sliver of silver on them it is already wearing off.....I have a couple that look tarnished. I'd share a picture, but I can't seem to make it work. Ugh.

If four of them still makes a dollar it seems that the rest of it is moot.

We'll see what any of our money is worth soon.

Except that dollar might be worth less than 25 cents in the coming days....for every dollar you paid in 2019, you are paying 14 cents more now. EVERY DOLLAR!!

Yes, and personally I don't like the symbolism of facing away from "In God we Trust". And the fact that a brand new quarter is either tarnished or the silver is already wearing off of it is disturbing as well.

I just looked at a few quarters, and you're absolutely right! I took a picture....

(I see what you mean about the tarnished new quarters, but I couldn't capture it on camera, although the 2021 quarter is pretty worn out looking for only being a year old.)

If you don't use "Quote Reply" in your response, it is difficult to know who you are responding to...

yw ๐Ÿ™‚

It's probably a sneaky way towards taking God off our currency - something people won't notice (except observant ones like you ๐Ÿ˜‰)....or else it's just another way to affront Christians and God ๐Ÿคจ
