https://www.conservativejournalreview.com/biden-spews-false-rhetoric/Joe Biden is gaslighting again.
He is trying to get the entire country whipped up by blatantly lying about abortion.
After the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Biden claimed the United States is now an “outlier,” which is just blatantly false.
He Is LyingFirst and foremost, abortion has only been kicked back to the states. Now, I fully expect some states to make abortion completely illegal.
However, I also fully expect blue states to expand abortion rights.
Point being, if you want to have an abortion in this country, there will be plenty of states that will welcome you.
Regardless, Biden stated, “With this decision, the conservative majority of the Supreme Court shows how extreme it is, how far removed they are from the majority of this country.
“They have made the United States an outlier among developed nations in the world. But this decision must not be the final word.”
Again, the states now have the right to reflect their citizens… that is all that was done here.Ideally, every state puts abortion on the ballot as a referendum and lets the people decide.
If they do that, the people of each state will literally be creating majority legislation, as this country was meant to be.
To Biden’s point, he is dead wrong. Most European countries have very strict abortion legislation, limiting how far along the mother can be before making the abortion illegal.
In most of these cases, it is 15 weeks or less, which was part of the case the Supreme Court decided on in its opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade.
In Poland, the law reflects our Hyde Amendment, only allowing abortion in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother.
That's the way I would like to see it here in America. In Germany and Ireland, abortion is illegal after 12 weeks.
Austria, France, and Spain… illegal after 14 weeks.
Italy is about 13 weeks.
For years, there was a middle ground to be had here that would have settled this issue, but Democrats wanted to push it right through delivery.
This decision happened because Democrats refused to come to the table to mimic the rest of the world.
The United States, in fact, was among the most extreme abortion countries, and now states will decide just how far or how restrictive they want to be.
