Gods Will be done? He can ease our pangs ( His followers) but I really don’t like this happening to our heritage which is our beloved Country. I know these things are written in the Bible like food prices will go up dramatically as one example. But I still hope that this bump in the road will not be the time, the devil roams around seeing who he can devour. Heck of a life to witness the end of days.

The Apostles and Christians of that time (the beginning of the Church age) saw prophecy fulfilling or in the process of fulfilling and now we see the same only at the End days of The Church Age.

Yep, Paul even said "I am the sinner of sinners...guess he hadn't met me.
That's not to say they wouldn't be crying out, like us against the modern day Sodom and Gomorrah or our leaders sold out to anti-God corruption

The Bible has levels that constantly peak my interest, simple enough for children and the higher meat of the Word that comes forth when people study, not just read and think that is that. I didn’t understand what people meant when they would say the Word is pregnant with every word that preceded out of the mouth of God. Glad Christ fulfilled scripture, and uses that scapegoat named death. 👍👍

I’m absolutely fascinated with the Bible. Stories about the scapegoat is awesome, son of the father times 2!
Barabbas and Jesus!
Every deeper layer is a whole new adventure.
Love it!

I have not heard the term "pregnant...."
Then defeated death.
Amazing the several atheist that set out to prove Jesus resurrection never occurred, became followers of Jesus.

Figures of speech. You can read the Bible once, and when you’re reading again you will find that you missed pearls that pops out at you. So now people are paying closer attention and studying it because of scripture that manifests to the studying reader, that’s what that means. The Bible is pregnant. Defeated death is another name for satan, like the destroyer, and many others. I’m going to find scapegoat and show Marty what I mean. Let’s enjoy the Bible verses and share truth. 👍

I’m glad to hear it, this is the scapegoat that I was referring to. Leviticus 16:8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD ( GOD ), and the other lot for the scapegoat. V9 and Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. V10But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

This wilderness is the abode of all evil things. Satan as a figure of speech is our scapegoat b/c our sin are pinned to him indirectly. I think Christ will remind him of our sins and remind / convict him with our forgiven sins. Just like the two birds one with blood from the sacrificed other. The live one will be let go and to fly away. This is GOD speaking as this is what HE wants. Pearls of the Bible. If you want me to find that verse for you, I will.

I found the other pearl about the Sacrificial bird, but its for the cleansing of a leper, it's in Lev 14:1 - 7. V4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: V5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: V6 As for the living birds, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: V7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

It's just interesting that GOD had all these remedies back then, I know that Christ died for our sins but I just remembered this scripture, even though it wasn't the scapegoat that I thought it was.

I found the other pearl about the Sacrificial bird... (show quote)

Got it.
The scapegoat stories are a shadow of the event where Barabbas was set free and Jesus was sacrificed. The name barabbas is a joining of the words bar, neaning son of, and abba, meaning the father. Hence Barabbas, “son of the father”, is set free into the wilderness, and Jesus, literally the Son of the Father, is taken home to heaven, not lost in the wilderness. It’s proving that it’s better to be sacrificed than to be released back into the world.
