I know deaf, dumb, and blind when it comes to Biden.
Biden is a constant blame avoider.
And, a constant source of the blame subject.

(Republican solution to rising prices just block all Biden solutions until we get the White House back for Trump)

A simple solution, dump the entire Biden administration.
They are the root cause of this problem.
He caused it now Biden's begging for oil.

perhaps a thought to the bidding wars big oil will inflict on each state would be worth a little attention..

also remember, no bids were made before the closing of bids.. Why would that have happened??

Big oil, like big tobacco and big pharma has nothing good in mind for the American public.

Well enlighten us as to what Biden has done to raise prices.
All we get from republicans is it’s Biden’s fault.

This all started when Biden in his first year put 24 million Americans back to work that was lost under Trump and a pandemic. Also for one year 142 million working people stayed home due to the global pandemic. Bank accounts went up and people around the globe had excess cash.
Supply was Down demand went up and corporate greed kicked in.
Biden sponsored legislation to stop corporate greed passed in the house and blocked by Republicans in the senate. The Republicans blocked all avenues to even debate a solution to high prices. Only because of one reason they had no solution so they did not even want to debate a solution.

So let’s debate the Republican solution other than to blame Biden for a problem he inherited.

So your answer is don’t debate how is that a solution.

The US went through a massive pandemic, not just the US but a global problem with millions of jobs lost. We need Democrats and Republicans to work together to stop corporate greed.

This is a global problem, not just in the US. Gas prices are up around the globe did Biden create global inflation.

So let’s hear your solution other than to blame Biden for putting 24 million Americans back to work that started great demand and supplies down and corporate greed kicked in. It’s not hard to understand what happened.
Well enlighten us as to what Biden has done to rai... (show quote)

Not close to 24 million jobs.
The United States did finish 2021 with some 6.6 million more jobs than it started with the previous January. This far exceeded the previous one-year record of 4.2 million additional jobs in 1979.
However, as the nation’s population has grown, so has the number of jobs. Using the annual percentage increase is a better way to make comparisons across the 80-plus years for which data is available.

Using that metric, 2021 put up strong numbers but did not set an all-time record.

The number of jobs in 2021 increased by about 4.4%, which was the highest percentage since 1979.
Still, going back to 1940, the percentage increase seen in 2021 exceeded 10 times.

It’s also important to provide some additional context.

Comparison to the pre-pandemic level. The U.S. economy is still about 2.88 million jobs below the pre-pandemic peak — 149.6 million jobs in September 2021, compared with 152.5 million jobs in February 2020.

The question of timing. Biden entered office during a recession (and a global pandemic), but while the economy was on the upswing. Since different presidents have been sworn in at different points in the economic cycle, Biden’s comparison to his predecessors is not really apples-to-apples.

Who gets the credit? Experts always caution that a president is not all-powerful in economic matters, since many factors beyond their control, from international oil supplies to changes in technology and demographics, can shape the health of the U.S. economy.

Our ruling
Biden said, "Our economy created over 6.5 million new jobs just last year, more jobs in one year than ever before in the history of the United States of America."
Also, since different presidents have been sworn in at different points in the economic cycle, Biden’s comparison to his predecessors is not really apples-to-apples.

The statement is partially accurate but leaves out important details,
so we rate it Half True.

I just don’t understand how you can’t look at the facts.
This is a global Problem not just the US did Biden create a global pandemic, did Biden create global gas prices to go up, did Biden create global inflation, did Biden invade the Ukraine.
No it’s corporate greed around the globe and republicans in the house and senate refuse to debate and block all legislation to combat corporate greed and have no solutions other than to blame Biden.

So answer this question who raised gas price's and why, who prices on goods and services and why. You can’t blame Biden when around the globe we have the same problem. So what did Biden do.
It had already started under Trumps last four mont... (show quote)

I remember distinctly fuel prices started going up when Biden started signing EO's.

Around April 2020, US demand for automotive gasoline tanked as state governments declared lockdowns, companies shifted to remote work, and people cut down on non-essential travel. The sudden drop in consumption created a glut of gas inventory in the US, which helped lower pump prices below $2 per gallon.

In response, oil refiners cut their gas production by nearly 40%, from a peak of about 1.8 million barrels per day pre-pandemic to a low of 1.1 million barrels per day in May 2020. Fearing that gasoline demand might never return, some refiners permanently shut down plants, shrinking the US’s overall refining capacity by 4.5%. A devastating freeze in Texas knocked even more refining plants offline this February.

Gas demand returned faster than refinery production
This year, gas demand has recovered almost entirely to pre-pandemic levels. As 60% of the population got fully vaccinated and US states have lifted most public health restrictions, Americans are once again on the road and burning fuel. But oil refineries haven’t yet returned to full gas production—an onerous process that will involve restarting stalled plants and opening new ones.

Are those the plants this admin said they weren't renewing leases for, the same plants that have waited months for permits? Those plants?

Inflation isn't his fault. Formula shortage isn't his fault. Millions of jobs needing filled isn't his fault. Millions of illegals crossing our border isn't his fault. Drug overdoses up over 100% not his fault. Hiring a bunch of incompetent boobs in his administration isn't his fault. Other countries invading or looking to invade other countries not his fault. The fact he's the only one in the country that can eat an entire scoop of ice cream in one bite, and not get brain freeze, not his fault. FJB. LGB

“People don’t realize what’s happening to them,” said Lynn “Bugsy” Allen, a Texas farmer. “They think it’s hard right now, you give it until October.
Food prices are going to double.
The 8.8 percent rise in food prices Americans have already seen doesn’t take into account the dramatic cost increases farmers are now experiencing.
This is because farmers pay their costs upfront and only get them back at the point of sale, months later.
“Typically, what we see on the farm, the consumer doesn’t see for another 18 months,” said John Chester, a Tennessee corn, wheat, and soybean farmer.
But with the severity of these cost increases, consumers could feel the effects much sooner, particularly if the weather becomes a factor.

Lorenda Overman, a North Carolina farmer who raises hogs and grows corn, soybeans, and sweet potatoes, said rising fuel costs have put her farm in the red this year. “Nothing that consumers pay is going to close the gap for farmers right now,” she said. “The prices haven’t hit the grocery stores yet,” but she expects they will start to do so in late summer.
“They don’t have electric trucks that deliver that food and there are no electric tractors,” Allen said. “Diesel is needed to run all of this.”
Chester said fuel and fertilizer together make up 55 percent of his total costs. The price of diesel fuel has more than doubled, from $2.50 per gallon at the end of 2020 to more than $5 per gallon today. Farmers say the cost of fertilizer, an oil derivative, has tripled and in some cases quadrupled.

“When you look at the machinery that uses diesel, it’s farm equipment, railroads, and truckers,” said Daniel Turner, executive director of Power the Future, an energy advocacy group. Diesel “moves all our assets, grows our food. From cargo ships that arrive from abroad to trucks or trains that transport these goods throughout the country. All of those things now have additional costs that will be sent to the consumer.”
“That increase in food and energy costs is very destructive to demand in American households,” said Joseph Lavorgna, chief economist at Natixis, a European bank. “If you have to pay a lot more money for your food, to heat or cool your house, or to put gas in your car to get to work, there is less money available elsewhere.”
Gas and food price hikes will leave Americans with less money to spend on other goods, reducing demand and having a ripple effect on the broader economy.
Economic reports indicate that Americans can no longer keep up with inflation. Household savings fell at the lowest rate in 14 years as people struggle to maintain their standard of living. Credit card debt is reaching record levels, and retailers say they are bracing for more consumers to limit their spending to “basic essentials.”
One of the unique features of the current economic crisis is the extent to which it is driven by government action, as opposed to market failure.
This includes trillions of dollars in federal spending to prop up an economy reeling from draconian government lockdowns that now appear to have had little success in containing the coronavirus.
This expense was compounded by the fact that the Federal Reserve held interest rates close to zero while expanding its balance sheet to $9 trillion, flooding the United States with cash.
These problems were then exacerbated by the Biden administration’s new regulation of the economy and its antipathy towards the US fossil fuel industry, along with a Western boycott of Russian oil and fertilizer exports following the invasion.

On May 17, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy.) and other Republican Republicans introduced the ONSHORE Act, which would give states the power to manage oil and gas production on federal land within their borders. Simultaneously they introduced the Lease Now Act, which would require the Interior Department to resume the sale of oil and gas leases.

Great article, but understatement of increases.
● Over 2 million meat/layers chickens killed- 90% ???Possible??Bird Flu
● Last week, Largest egg processing and distribution center in America burned to the Ground
● Within a few weeks of each other 18 of our larger to largest food production plants burned to the ground...same time Walmarts largest distribution center burned to the ground ....and the largest fertilizer

Mathematically impossible odds, other than a directed effort to destroy the supply of Foods.

● 40%+ of foods Americans consume is processed in China (Beef Sent to China made into patties that we then purchase..example) The supply is in ruins and our nearly decimated relationship with China is estimated to further deteriorate food supply.
● China entering a war with Taiwan would stop the China supply chain in it's tracks. Essential parts and supplies for contractors and manufacturing will grid to a halt.
● It's estimated that as much as 20% of farmers have planted cover crops instead of food crops, included also are farmlands purchased and left idle.
● Key products globally, shipped to our shores..Tomatoes from Italy (Shortages of cans-Supply chain) Soy Beans South America- crop damage and majority of soy bean crops (futures) purchased by China. Soy is mostly consumed as feed for cattle, poultry in American farms. Farmers are struggling to keep up with feed cost and small-medium size farms stopped breeding for future food production. Larger farms have reduced their stocks (number of cattle dramatically)
● California vegetable farming that feeds 40% of America. California government has in the last few years shut off water from millions of acres of farm land. Now they are shutting off to nearly all farm land. And refuse to repair water delivery pipelines losing over 80% through leakage.
● European countries have begun or increased existing orders of farm and food products from South America that reduces supply to the State's.
● For unexplained reason's from Union Pacific that moves and delivers most all fertilizer throughout the United States has stopped all shipping of fertilizer for an undetermined period of time.

And many more issues caused by lockdowns, remove lockdowns, orchestrated supply chain disaster combined with the "Velocity " of currency in our economy, panic propaganda .

● At the beginning of post lockdowns the national "Days Food Supply " was 90 days.
Lockdowns remove lockdowns, supply chain, Velocity of currency , propaganda have moved dangerously close to a 50 day supply with some hording/panic buying.
If panic buying becomes (Projected it definitely will) becomes widespread our days supply will drop below a 30 day supply and with deterioration of our supply chain, that would mean parts of our country not receiving food.

What is Biden’s solution? If he believes that this is corporate price gouging what is his solution? As President Truman said “the buck stops here” His party is in Control of the Senate,Congress and the executive branch, complaining about Republicans is not taking care of the peoples business! Pointing fingers while the price of daily living goes up is counterproductive and pisses off working class people of all political persuasions!
