Putin has made it a crime punishable with 15 years in prison for speaking of facts that would contradict his Russian media approved messages about the special operation in the Ukraine. It's a special operation, call it a war and you will be arrested. I guess people would have to protest Russia's special operation huh? Problem is any protest of anything at all would lead to an arrest.

Yes it is, I saw where one state was trying to legislate a law against reporters that if they report a lie about a politician they would be fined a grand or fifteen hundred bucks. Freedom of speech and all. There will be some slippery slopes on that technicality. Oh, and it's a red controlled state law, not dems.
