A fleet of planes that has a combined maintenance cost of Four Hundred Billion Dollars. The kicker is that we have already sold 200 of these planes to other countries at a cost of One Hundred Thirty Million Dollars Per.
The DOD Is dieing to use Ukraine as a proving ground.
Please Google and read up on this one.
My Question is, turning the Military into the Electric Vehicle Military Complex?
After reading up on this you will realize that Biden’s Build Back Better and Green Plan is total Horse Shit!

You are mixing ridiculous rhetoric...this plane has nothing to do with Biden, actually it has nothing to do with trump either...the program began in 1992...so who's plane is this? The pentagon tried to pull the plug on it a long time ago, it is the most costly system ever.

The F-35 is developed, produced, and supported by an international team of government allies and aerospace industry leaders. The F-35 Program is managed by the Pentagon’s F-35 Joint Program Office, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy are all procuring and operating F-35s. There are eight international program partners — the U.S., United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, Norway, Denmark and Canada. Six Foreign Military Sales customers are also procuring and operating the F-35 — Israel, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Belgium and Singapore.

Lockheed Martin serves as the prime contractor with a global supply chain of more than 1,900 companies based in the United States and in every nation acquiring the F-35.

https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products/f-35/f-35-global-partnership.html

Just prior to the invasion, Finland formalized the purchase of 64 F-35s on Feb. 4, that country’s largest military procurement ever.
Most dramatically, German leaders announced three weeks after the Russian invasion their own purchase of 35 F-35 jets.

The Canadian government announced that it would buy 88 of the fighter jets, a purchase for which it has reportedly budgeted about $15 billion.

Welcome.

The Real reason that the Air Force wants to shift funding away from the F-35:

U.S. Plans for a High Endurance Sixth Gen. Fighter to Escort New B-21 Bombers Into Chinese Airspace.

BTW: The Navy and Marines seem happy with their F-35's.

If the pilots like them they're probably solid I'd guess👍👍👍

I also liked this…

The Power of Partnership

The results above are possible because of the global community dedicated to the success of the most lethal, survivable and connected fighter jet in the world. The F-35 is developed, produced and supported by an international team of government allies and aerospace industry leaders.

The global F-35 program brings together the best and brightest aerospace and defense minds to deliver the world’s most advanced 5th Generation multi-role fighter jet.

F-35 partner companies Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman work with a global supply chain of more than 1,900 companies based in the U.S. and in every nation acquiring the F-35.
Suppliers in all nine F-35 partner countries are producing F-35 components for all F-35s, not just aircraft for their own country. In addition to Lockheed Martin’s F-35 production line in Fort Worth, Texas, there are two Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facilities outside the U.S. – in Cameri, Italy; and Nagoya, Japan.
This delivers high-tech jobs, indigenous skills, and future industrial opportunities to companies around the world – large and small.

Although I must say technology will be the demise in “ new warfare technique… “ These planes great to have in place but the push of a button can bring devastation to a country in minutes~~~
