‘The’ list?

I’m sure there are many targets but highly doubt this guy knows as much as he claims.

I doubt Putin will start a nuclear war. We have the capability to easily destroy them too. But you never know.

You don't... At the moment...

The balance has changed...

But it won't be Putin firing nukes first...

We don’t know who would fire first.

We know that both Russia and China have the ability to take out American systems... Which is why they don't want the missiles on their borders... Time is of the essence..

I know it's going on 77 years, but only one country has fired a nuclear weapon at an enemy.
Now, before everyone gets all pissy with me, I am a believer in the non-aggression principle. Never throw the first punch as it were. But if a bomb lands on Cleveland, hit them with everything we have.

All Putin has to do is flash his "nuclear card", and the world cowers in their basements.

That, boys and girls, is the road to subjugation.

"Additionally, there are legally binding contracts between countries, including Russia, that prevent a nuclear war from occurring."
This is the last sentence in the eighth paragraph of your topic. I believe Russia believes that the Minsk agreements has been reneged on by NATO. Perhaps you could ask the Apache Nation, the Navajo Nation, the Nez Perce tribe, and so on ad nauseam about agreements.

From the only nation to ever deploy the nuclear card

Tell me!

The whole point is that no matter how it starts, or why, the end is not good for anyone involved.

One simply cannot know. If Putin has cabinet members recommending setting one off to prove they're serious, then I'm thinking they are serious. What I don't like is the assumption by so many that Putin would not do it and want to go forward with more involvement and more war.
