Florida lawmakers on Wednesday passed a new GOP-backed bill that would create the first-ever elections police force, dedicated to election fraud and related crimes. The bill would create an Office of Election Crimes and Security made up of a 25-member staff – including 10 law enforcement officers – to investigate allegations of election-related crimes.
It would also make it a felony – rather than a misdemeanor – to collect and deliver more than two mail-in ballots and raise the fine that can be given to third-party voter registration organizations that evade state election law from $1,000 to $50,000.

Nazi Germany had such a police force called the Geheime Staatspolizei, abbreviated Gestapo. Another dumb idea from the guy that wants to be president.

Sounds like you don't know what you're talking about (per usual, yes). I lived in St Pete, Seminole, and Tarpon Springs. It's certainly sunny & warm. I understand why people move there & visit, but for me, not in the cards. Also, it's Florida, but maybe you're thinking of doritos?

Odd that you pick popular, yet crowded places then complain about them being crowded and popular.

I've had a place in St. Pete Beach for many years. I returned yesterday from a three week stay. Escaped before spring breaker thugs show up in force.

That's just where I lived. I didn't mean to complain, just for me, I enjoy where I live. I guess just about everyone is that way, what do they say, home is where the heart is? I didn't mean to knock your state, FL is beautiful. I always remember the "South of the Border" billboards driving skiing I95. Could help but wonder about the fortune in billboards. I guess it's not a great tourist destination for nothing, right.

LOL

You can always tell when an ELWNJ is triggered - they immediately make a comparison to Hitler/Nazis.

I'm very fortunate to have my base in Hill Country Texas with the outpost in St Pete Flo-rita!

That being said I'm within 50 miles of the Texas bastion of liberal hell - Austin!

The Geheime Staatspolizei, abbreviated Gestapo, was the official secret police of Nazi Germany and in German-occupied Europe. The force was created by Hermann Göring in 1933 by combining the various political police agencies of Prussia into one organisation
