Sounds like theft to me. I can understand them trying to buy him out and then have his assets frozen as per sanctions(Which I don't agree with). If he isn't bought out, but just removed from the board and other working positions within the company, again, reasonable to go along with sanctions. But while his assets or access to the company is frozen, he is entitled to all profits due to the amount of his investments and the investments, at the end of sanctions. Otherwise, it is theft. Plain and simple.
