IF the russians can do this can we answer or just have to take it. The Russians live in a 1950s period. Can we shut down their whole system.

I don't play bingo but it might interfere with my poker playing. But I'm wondering if FJB has also declined to react

Russia shut down the eastern seaboard’s energy supply. They could probably do similar stuff again.
Biden didn’t sanction Russia earlier because: HE ALWAYS LEADS FROM BEHIND!! He learned that lesson very well from Obongo. They always waited until something happened; then, try to fix the problem when it was too late.

We Have a serious cyber capability, and something those who supported trump never really paid attention to was that trump gutted and hamstrung the entities dedicated to cyber security, if you don't believe me look up cyber funding from 2016 to 2020.
Fortunately cyber entities are spread throughout several pentagon and national intelligence entities including the CIA and FBI. Trump gutted the agency that was to have the function of coordinating and correlating so that everything was on the same page. It has been well covered that trump literally did not want to hear about any Russian involvement, so it was quietly done regardless.
During Obama's last year we were hearing more and more about cyber warfare, and the administration was trying to let people know the realities about how bad it could get and what the vulnerabilities were.
Russia had a solid electronic infrastructure based on vacuum tube technology especially for military applications because they were less vulnerable to being wasted during nuclear activity. That and a far smaller dependence on computers made them less vulnerable to cyber warfare attacks.
And yes, cyber offense activity is and will happen
