Currently the United States imports about 150,000 to 200,000 barrels of Russian oil and about 500,000 barrels of refined products per day.
This information is available to everyone.

I’m starting to believe it’s impossible for you to post anything with any accuracy, even if you wanted to.
Russia accounted for 11% of crude oil imports to the U.S. between January and October 2021; surpassing Saudi Arabian crude oil imports.
When you say “3% insignificant” are you referring to Three Percenters?

What’s 3%ers ?

Strange our own Energy Sec. Granholm can't verify that... do you have the link for 2021.

What do you expect; it’s not like she’s Energy Secretary. Oh wait….. never mind. I’m sorry I don’t have a link for 2021. I did a quick search and grabbed the first up, for 2020.

Let’s look at something back or around 1990 when Venezuela was the King of Oil Production of the World. They voting in Socialism around early 1990 or so and destroyed the way of Life. Now fast forward to 2022 in the USA , we are heading towards Socialism is this going to happen ?

Threat? You’re too funny. I’ll gladly provide my opinion on anything if asked. What I’m not going to do is answer questions where the answer is readily available to anyone by doing a little research. Don’t be lazy.
Please find and show me where I ever praised Putin. This will keep you busy for a long time because I have never praised Putin. You project and lie as well as your heroes in the MSM and Democrat Party.

No supplies got cut off, we still produce as much as we use...export as much as we import...whatever it all boils down to we can do without oil from Russia.

And it wouldn't be through or in conjunction with Exxon, would it? Think about that one as you recall the huge deal Exxon had on the table with Russia for $500 Billion.

Oil companies are under a lot of pressure to keep their production down. And the call is coming from inside the house: it's oil investors who are pushing for companies to pump less oil.

This is why we should have our own oil and gas, so we won't be so dependent on our enemy....We need to reopen all pipelines so we can pump our own oil and not be dependent on Russia...or anybody else for this matter..

agreed except for the Canadian pipeline but of course you know that most of our oil went / still goes overseas. What we need is new refineries more in the great lakes area. why would you want to pipeline oil from northern America to Texas.

I will concede ee are getting some oil from Russia, and we should stop immediately. There are other countries, including us we can source oil from. However the real problem is Russia is the second largest exporter of oil in the world. They are sitting on a pile of cash from this. I'd love to see us cutting off the spicket. This would be a real saction.

It's safer and probably cheaper to transport oil by pipeline than by truck. Wouldn't pipelines bring oil to other states as well?
