I am a vet. I did not fight but was in a war zone in '68. ISIS is a highly dangerous but small group. America has far greater influence and power. It has used it badly throughout its history: simple truth. Ask the Blacks or native Americans. Ask most workers for 200 years. Ask women for for 150 years. Ask Mexico. Ask Cuba, Iran, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and so many other nations we deemed to stir the pot of their sovereignty with our recipe for their future. Open your eyes, that is not a sin to look at our numerous and gross mistakes as a nation. But what makes us exceptional as a country, we admit it (eventually) and look to correct our errors. This is singular in Civilization.
