Ok, I think I have a plan to counter the invasion.
First off, all working, tax-paying people quit their jobs.
Then, all of us apply for welfare funding.
When asked why we cannot work, we tell them that the government is taking too much of our money to pay for welfare recipients and that welfare recipients receive more in compensation than we make working at our jobs. We want our FAIR share of the government pie.
After we are denied, we continue flooding the system with requests for assistance. The entire system will collapse under the weight of its own bureaucracy.

This is just a rough draft, and is probably totally unworkable, but stranger things have happened.

I've been told the "Illegal Mexicans go to the Front of the Line" bill is dead. The bill is intended to make getting a visa and/or naturalized easier, if you live in our country, than if you live in your country.

Amnesty is coming and the Republicans on the Gang of 8 are all insistent on it. They have voted for it and will vote for it when it gets to the Senate floor. The bill is different than the Kennedy amnesty of 1986 but it still comes with amnesty which I am totally against.

I have wondered about him for some time and think he is becoming a RINO very fast. Those clowns on that Gang of 8 really don't understand that we have to close down the border before extending any more amnesty. That would make that border come alive again and I don't care about the illegals that are here now. I want to see them sent home.

I totally cannot believe I missed this little missive the other day. You must continue your work on this project.

It did bring to mind something similar relating to NY Gun Control. Within that perfidious little pile of deification is a requirement to report lost ammunition to the State Police. Someone suggested many individuals purchase a box of ammunition, create a list of x number of people, each day one person would toss a bullet in the woods, etc. the person would report it lost. The next day, next day, next day the same thing. Figure it would take a very short time till the State Police would be swamped and howling. 8-)

For 1 thing...How did We let "Them" decide that illegal non-citizens can have offspring that are Legal Citizens? Since our Guv'ment knows there are 12 million Illegals here, then they must know where to go pick them up at. Round 'em up and send them back. And then We must deal with the Others we've let in and know nothing about (ie- Boston Bombers). this world has changed and We can't keep letting people in without knowing everything there is to know about them. There's a Process and i'm sure it sucks; but, until a better Process is put forth- just deal with it.

An answer to how the children of illegal immigrants are "Legal Citizens" would be the first sentence in Section 1 of the 14th Amendment (1868) of the Constitution of the United States which states, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside."

There has been some mention previously of amending the Constitution to preclude the issue you mention. There was such a massive outcry from the illegal immigrant community and the supporters thereof, it went no where.

But liberals of all kinds know that they need those Latino votes to remain in power and they won't ever allow an amendment to deal with the 14th that was aimed at helping former slaves and never intended to help illegal aliens and their offspring.

Quid Pro Quo, oldroy: You got that right! The 14th Amendment was never ment to authorize folks to walk across the boarder and immediately have a kid who could then be claimed to be an American citizen. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Of course, you are right but how do we turn the left away from this badly abused part of our Constitution. They realize how much they can use this one to gain those votes and aren't going to stop it soon.
