Many words intended to be descriptive are now deemed by the politically correct to be offensive.

But I find it hilarious that I am not supposed to use certain words because someone might get offended, yet everywhere I turn I see 4-letter words on T-shirts, bumper stickers, and bill boards. Words considered offensive for centuries are now acceptable and considered free speech if they are used to deliberately offend. But don't you DARE use the word "niggardly" in a sentence!!!
