In a typical Dirty Harry Reid/Obama rubberstamp, Senate Democrats have once again betrayed the American people, by their vote which passed by one vote, that will allow Obama to amnesty hundreds of thousands of wetbacks by executive order.
Four of the five Democrats who defied Reid are in tough re-elections and amnesty is extremely unpopular in their district. The fifth, Joe Manchin of W VA, where Obama is about as popular as a cockroach infestation, appears to have simply voted the wishes of his consituents. The other four, in typical weasel politician fashion, waited until the last possible moment to cast their vote with the Republican minority, in hopes of being able to use this transparent hypocrisy in November.

Buenas tardes Sr. Loki,
From the wetback sanctuary city of Houston Texas, I can report to you that the " mojados " are as thick as fleas on a ghetto dog down here.
The construction industry is taking full advantage of the multitudes of incoming laborers and it is rumored that the entire property development industry is now being manipulated by a Mexican based mafia-like organization.
I am stuck on a project here in Houston and I am witnessing firsthand the virtual takeover of this city.
We have only completed a little more than half of this contract but our next project is in Louisiana.
I never thought I'd live to see the day that I would be looking forward to working in Louisiana in preference over working in my native state.

I have trouble considering Houston as a part of Texas. Most of my limited time in Texas has been up in the panhandle. I kind of like it there, although I don't know why. Nice people, I suppose. I spent some time in Shamrock, just east of Amarillo. Had some friends in NM whose folks were there.
As far as Louisiana goes, I have figured out why they spice up their food and put chicory in their coffee; it's to kill the taste of the water.
