Seems as if you short sighted right wingers have never had a real job or been concerned for the safety of any one working the actual job..

The list of outright dangerous situation workers get put into would fill the space OPP can devote to a subject..

The refusal of the right wing to seek safety for workers should prohibit them from ever claiming to be the party of the working class.. which they are not, in any way at all...

Afternoon Permi, how ya doin today? Well, I hope.
Your post made me think about my work history from childhood until now, and how many OSHA, and probably child labor laws were, and are now being violated, and either overlooked, or covered up by the big guys.
The two big ones that stick out to me are Owens Corning, and the USPS.

At Corning, they were making a product with some chemicals in the 'binder' they put on the fiberglass that was making us sick. When OSHA came in, and did air sampling, they had taken that chemical out so it looked ok. When I worked there, my wife told me she could smell the chemical smell coming out of my lungs when I slept. Since I left there in 1995, many of the people I worked with have died from various kinds of cancer. Corning bore no liability.

If OSHA was on top of their game, those Grumman LLV'S, the little mail trucks, would all be taken off the road. Ain't a damn one of them safe to drive, and the summer heat factor makes them even more dangerous.
I could go on, and on, but on a lighter note.
Not real long ago, I was looking at a 3 day weekend. The day before, I was given around 12 hours worth of work. I was pissed because I wanted to get my weekend started, so I ran my ass off all day, and got it done in 10 hours. When I got back, my supervisor asked how I got it done so fast, and I told her, "Multiple OSHA violations."She just said "Enjoy your long weekend." with a sour look on her face.

Snake way to mandate the death shot. OSHA will call the flu a workplace safety issue over which they have complete control.

Yes: I know quite well what a bigot is - a good example would be someone who casts a broad net about a group of people he disagrees with.

And you claim to know who I voted for?

And what do we have in the Oval Office now? A man who abandons Americans/allies to the like of the Taliban. Do you support that?

Archie... smell it on your breath lord,, keep up on your physicals.. that is fearsome..

Bet chemical violations lead the pack of both acted on and skipped violations.. have had a couple incidents with them , but never anything like you had.. not at all concerning.. agent orange was a different matter, it I kick over from a long list of cancers, my survivors will git some pittance as a reward..

Before OSHA was a thing, I worked at Honeywell right out of high school, we did machine work, nose cones etc, we washed the parts in solvent in order to measure them. found our much later, they had to stop because hands were becoming covered with ulcers and supposedly some lost fingers.. never anyone I worked with but that was the report..

LOL, bet I would like your supervisor..

Rumors on those little trucks was that if we got stuck in the snow, two men could lift them our.. doubt it but fun idea.. we never got one, had to use our own vehicle..

Good Meme as well, darn fitting and what most would agree with I think..

have a good one and stay safe..

PO as I was and still am about the stupid Afghan withdrawal, you know if any thought at all that the spin you put on it is not correct..

And for that matter, even a stray dog would have been an improvement over the former occupant..

I base my expectation of your vote, on the positions you take on issues that come up on OPP.. it is all I know about you and it is far right and opposed to anything held dear by the democratic party..

Can you tell me what is held dear by the Democrat party today. And, no, it's NOT democratic at all. It's about power, money, and absolute control. Don't get me wrong, I despise the Republican party as well, but the democrats are on a mission for complete control of my life in ways which are none of their business.
Democrats want to do nothing but take MORE out of my paycheck so I can go walk my 14 miles a day, and get bitched at because the government check isn't in my hand. You "democratic" folks want the workers to support the lazy, worthless non workers.
A lot of folks are getting a little tired of this "democratic" garbage.

And what precisely is 'incorrect'?

And what is held 'dear' to the democrat party?

Raising taxes - claiming it will affect only the wealthy - which common sense tells everyone it is wrong.

Open borders: Look at our southern border.

Crazy issues: 'People get pregnant - not just women' - 27 genders - CRT; a racist theory being forced on people.

So tell me what is "dear" to you? But be careful; you might find you are a "righty".

Does that mean that the Dem leaders in California would be subject to those fines or will they be exempted from them as they seem to have been in the past with the mask mandate? I have family in California and they seem to have much more stringent rules than Utah does.
