Can anyone elaborate more on who Bryan Fischer is and his position in the conservative community? I just picked up this article from The Daily Kos (please don't choke, my conservative buddies!) where he decrys that the sign of a Christian nation is the availability of bacon. Tell me more.

Obviously Bryan Fischer's critical thinking skills are not too sharp. Pork is readily available in China and Japan, who although they have some Christians, are hardly Christian nations.

Neither is Israel. Although you won't find pork on a menu in Israel, it is readily available, especially outside of Jerusalem, if you ask for "steak lavan"---white steak.

Israel, like China and Japan, is also not a Christian nation. I suspect Mr. Fischer's elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.
