Barack Obama plans to announce a major offensive this week against the Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa, including U.S. military involvement, The Wall Street Journal reports. Obama will outline his plans Tuesday during a visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, sources told the Journal. The president also is expected to ask Congress for $88 MILLION to fund the effort.

"There's a lot that we've been putting toward this, but it is not sufficient," Obama's counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco told the Journal. "So the president has directed a more scaled-up response and that's what you're going to hear more about on Tuesday."

There are currently no major concerns the virus could spread to the United States, but SOME VIROLOGISTS FEAR A MAJOR MUTATION COULD CHANGE THE WAY IT IS TRANSMITTED, CAUSING SERIOUS CONCERN!!!!

The U.S. military already has sent eight service members to West Africa. They include doctors, a logistician and medical specialists, the Journal reports. It also plans to send a 25-bed portable hospital unit to Liberia, but doesn't plan to provide staff.

It's just amazing!! Obama plans to ask Congress for $88 million to place our best and bravest in disease-ridden West Africa; he's spending millions to clothe, shelter, feed, employ and medically care for millions of illegals; he made a commitment of 33 BILLION (Yeah!! With a "B") to increase trade with the African Continent; but, when it comes to the protection of America and Americans, he can't seem to find the funds for more Border Patrol Agents or a damn FENCE!!!!!

So here we are, folks!! The fundamental change. What a disgrace!!!!

The deadly virus has already killed some 2,100 people in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Nigeria and has also spread to Senegal. The World Health Organization (WHO) believes it will take six to nine months to stop the spread of Ebola. Sierra Leone is to enter 'lockdown' as Ebola death toll tops 2,000.

Speaking on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’, Obama said there could be implications if Washington and other powers did not send help to the region. “We’re going to have to get US military assets just to set up, for example, isolation units and equipment there, to provide security for public health workers from around the world. If we don’t make that effort now, and this spreads NOT JUST THROUGH AFRICA, BUT OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD, there’s the prospect then that the virus mutates. It becomes more easily transmittable. AND THEN IT COULD BE A SERIOUS DANGER TO THE UNITED STATES."

It seems to me that all this vulnerability we are experiencing is a direct result of Obama's ideology, arrogance, lack of leadership, lack of economic acumen, indecision, deceit, and fecklessness. Consider Benghazi, Syria, ISIS, Russia, China - there is no fear of the capabilities, strength or determination of the U.S.. because we are perceived as having a weak president, more intent on his political perception, golf games, fund raisers, and speeches than securing the borders of his own country.

Think about it!!! Close our porous border and all the resources we spend on the support of illegal aliens, on the incarceration of criminal illegal aliens, on the drugs dumped here, on jihadists also using Obama's DACA program as their welcome mat, and on the diseases now infesting our country. Cases of measles, which usually averaged 61 per year, have increased to OVER 500 this year and is STILL SPREADING! The rise has been attributed to the unvaccinated who have recently "entered" the U.S.

All these threats to OUR SAFETY AND TREASURE could be eradicated if Obama would just SECURE THE DARN BORDER!!!! Obama should be held accountable for every death resulting from a border breach, as it is his dereliction which has caused these casualties.

It seems that Tuesday, Sept. 16, we should be getting more information from the WH about the E-bola initiative. God Bless Us All and especially our troops who may be heading to Africa.

When hospital camps are set up, desperate crowds of sick people will be crashing in unless there are fences and watchtowers and guarded gates. Somebody will have to be in control. Most were from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, where rampant gang violence and intense poverty drove tens of thousands of people outside their borders and into the arms of our Border Agents - compliments of that "leader" you alluded to and his DACA program. It was this "come one-come all" Obama stratagem that was the catalyst for the surge of unvaccinated children with communicable diseases to cross a dangerous desert with human smugglers. Once here, they were relocated all over the U.S. to eventually mingle with our own children.

Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, a physician with practices in both Tucson and Dallas, remarked that these "invisible travelers" coming across the border include TB, MEASLES, hepatitis, malaria, Chagas disease – a parasitic infection – and dengue fever.

“A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS, THE LIKES OF WHICH I HAVE NOT SEEN IN MY LIFETIME, IS LOOMING,” Vliet stated. Hardest hit by exposures to these difficult-to-treat diseases will be elderly, children, immunosuppressed cancer patients, and patients with chronic lung disease or congestive heart failure. Drug-resistant tuberculosis is the most serious risk, but even diseases like MEASLES can cause severe complications and DEATH.

With regard to terrorists crossing the border:

As to Obama's seeing danger and doing something about it:

When it came to his DACA program, he, apparently, DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE DANGERS!! Central Americans believed that DACA meant there would be no consequences to breaching the U.S. border and so it was flooded with tens of thousands of people for which the Obama Administration had not prepared. No shelters, beds, food, diapers, toys.
toilet facilities, etc.. It was a disgrace!! Border Agents became nannies; then afterward came the "solution" - put them on buses and "dump" them in cities and states around the country to "assimilate." BRILLIANT!!!

Ambassador Chris Stevens sent multiple emails requesting additional security at the Benghazi Consulate - even ON SEPT. 11TH. A U.S. Security Team actually had to disobey "stand down" orders in order to provide assistance!! They saved 30 people, but, tragically, were unable to save four other Americans, including the Ambassador, a Diplomat and two Navy Seals. Obama watched the atrocity in real time from a surveillance drone. What did he do? ZZZZZZZZZ - Gotta rest up!!! Las Vegas for a fundraiser tomorrow!!

Obama drew a line in the sand!!! Guess he must have seen danger ahead!! Syrian President al-Assad, gassed his own people. What did Obama do, Marvin? - NOTHING!!! - Now we have another Islamic terrorist group named ISIS, which grew in Syria, is now 31,000 strong, and beheading Americans. Why didn't he DO something, Marvin?!!! For crying out loud, he called those ISIS savages JV's!!! Is that seeing danger ahead and DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT?
