Have you ever known folks who are in denial over an obvious mistake ? All that mattered was getting Donald J. Trump out of the Presidency. So they backed Joseph Biden. He was the man who faced down the street gang member Corn Pop, when he was a young White Life Guard at a mostly Black attended public pool. I figure that any gang member who had the guts to name himself after a breakfast cereal, must be pretty tough, because he likely got his ass kicked every day.

Ah but the guy who stood up to Corn Pop was a young Joe Biden. Likely that is what his voters imagined he still was, instead of they got olde Joe Biden. Now the oldness is coming to the forefront. Even with the incompetent senior members of his team feeding him bad intel, there had to be some good field intelligence getting to Biden's desk, but he ignored it.

The Afghanistan debacle, the border, inflation, and the surging corona virus numbers must frighten Joe's hardcore supporters, but like the guy whose new car is a lemon, or the woman who married the frog and not the prince, they are too emotionally invested in Joe to admit their mistake.
