Don't wear a mask and boycott anything "global." "Marxist government" and the obedience to the "one size fits all mentality of big government policies like, "defund the police," and the "George Soros monetarily-backed BLM cabal" is a stupid road to "slavery." Believing in the "righteousness of Christ alone" is a heartful and mental release from the enslavement to the notion that "government is God."

Good evening,
So what are we supposed to do about what it says in Romans the 13th chapter?
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ...

And, 1 Peter 2:13-17
Be subject for the Lord's sake to Every Human Institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

This too, Titus 3:1
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

We are even supposed to pray for Biden!? yes 1 Timothy 2:1-2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a "peaceful and quiet life", Godly and dignified in Every Way.

The Golden Rules/Laws Luke 10:27
And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
A command based on words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: “All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.” The Mosaic law contains a parallel commandment: “Whatever is hurtful to you, do not do to any other person.”

Jesus said; You will know them by their fruit.
Apostle Paul tells us what type of fruit Jesus was talking about.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Perhaps there is a better way to live [by example ?] among those who have not walked into the "righteousness of Jesus Christ" yet...?

This 'version' of "God's Word" is a political document disguised as inspired truth from God.

My inner moral compass sees deception in the "God's Word" that instructs to obey authorities as they are in their positions (allegedly) by the will of God, yet committing evil as their stock in trade.

Biblical literalists are deceived, IMO, by the usual suspects who craft "God's Word" to appoint themselves as both eternal victims and as uniquely privileged in the "eye of God".

Biblical 'history' omits archeological evidence of previous civilizations--one at least seems to have been 'rebooted' (snuffed out) by an "ancient atomic war". The Hindu Mahabarata describes this ancient atomic war that archeologists estimate occurred about 12,500 years ago.

Perhaps that prior civilization reached a similar juncture--a face-off of good beings and utterly evil beings?

Rather than be accountable, the evil ones would take it all down (i.e., "Samson option") with atomic weapons, climate manipulation, directed energy weapons, tectonic weapons and even plagues.

Too bad this House Bill 2977 was not passed. https://www.congress.gov/bill/107th-congress/house-bill/2977/text

The text of House Bill 2977 is revealing.

Good evening
A very interesting comment.

I'm relieved to see you noted this below,
as your reply to Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2:13.
I must admit I tossed those references out, to see if anyone would object.

And my reason for doing so is tied to those who attempted to use those same scriptures while Trump was in office, to make it seem as if Trump and his officials were to be obeyed. You know, to give more credibility and power to the Anointed One.

But no, that isn't what Apostles Paul and Peter are saying.

You said;
"My inner moral compass sees deception in the "God's Word" that instructs to obey authorities as they are in their positions (allegedly) by the will of God, yet committing evil as their stock in trade".

Your inner moral compass, is indeed pointing True North.

Here's a link, and of course there are many others.
Some attempt to create "credibility" to promote the current Church State Theocracy Candidates of 2022 and 2024.

This also caused me to remember a possible reference with similarities.

Tectonic plates slide/fold under/over each other continuously.

And you Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth;
and the heavens are the works of your hands:
They shall perish, but you remain.
they all shall wax old as does a garment.
And as a vesture shall you
Fold them up, and they shall be Changed.

Thanks again for your reply, and mental stimulus check.
Be safe, and be well.
