My new computer

My twin brother, David, had an operatic voice. When he was graduating from college their choir, members of Cleveland ora and Cleveland Orchestra presented "The Creation" by Hyden. This was the 30th year of their joint presentations.
The college music department contacted the conductor of the opera house and told him that the Cleveland Opera had always supplied the soloists and told him not to bring a Tenor soloist because David would have that honor. He also told him that he would love his voice and him as a person. My favorite section was "The Heavens
Are Telling." I had season tickets to both the Metropolitan Opera and orThe Philharmonic Orchestra when I lived in N.J. At the orchestra concerts, I sat next to Elanor Roosevelt.
When I bought my last computer years ago I started writing about being s twin. I turned on WQXR and the first music I heard was the start of "The Heavens Are Telling.
I have been in a nursing home since December 1 and there is almost no classical music available so one of my best friends gave me this s laptop. The first thing I p[ayed was "The Heavens Are Telling" and the second was the whole oratorio.

I'm glad you have a new computer Logan777 so you can hear your favorite classical music. That's one of the best therapies around. I'm also very glad that you joined this forum because it will have your blood flowing like a 12 year old's , and before you know it we will have you dancing a jig on your way out of there.

Being a twin is a magical thing. One of my daughters was an identical twin, born early, we lost one at 4 months. It was a tragic loss, one from which I’ve never really recovered.
But she grew up and married one of a pair of identical twins. My youngest daughter also grew up and married one of twins. My uncles were twins. So we are a family of multiple twins. You didn’t mention your brother after college. I know what it could be like to have no classical music in your life. My favorite piece is Rachmaninov Piano Concerto #2. I have others and I’m sure you do,too. How was it seated next to Eleanor?

My mother-in-law gave birth to two sets of twins, but before that she had triplets. My wife was one of the twins and exactly 13 years older to the day (10/10) than the other set of twins. 14 of the 18 children lived to adulthood.

I had been an often contributing member for a while. As I recall I had some where about 700 contributions. I believe some of you enjoyed my philosophical thoughts. I have been out of circulation since December 1. I fell and have been learning how to walk again.
I go up to people sitting n their wheelchairs and pray with them.
They just started a new program here and I have lectured about my unique background. Imagine being in a nursing home and telling people that my first memory was Pearl Harbor day. At my second lecture when I told them that, about half of the audience said that it was theirs also. Everyone is old, and not many remember what happened 40 some years before.
I got the computer about two weeks ago and have been writing an average of 1,784 words a day. This created just about 9,000 words 33 pages in five days. With the size type I use this is around 250 words a page. This means that I should finish this book of 200 pages within the next six weeks. That will cut the usual three month 200 page book to 7 or 8 weeks.
BY THE WAY, after that I had started my new book called THE IMPATIENT PATIENT. and had handwritten about 20 pages in three weeks. The problem created by my going to law school. the last semester they teach how to bill and make your handwriting so bad it could not be admissible in court. If I had waited I would have learned it by myself by being 85 years old and in a nursing home.
People like to see their names in books, so I plan to allow people to put their initials and state in the book and write a maximum 250 words explaining something that happened while under medical care. Examples: an operation on the wrong arm, giving the wrong medicine or rename food dishes. Example "Last week we had petrified chicken one night."
If you have any idea of how to find people who would want their name in a book or set the price please let me know. My new email address is dlogans777@gmailcom. My mind is fuzzy, but onepolitical plaza might have a marketing or money making plan.
So far, since I have returned to Onepolitical plaza

That is amazing. I went back through my history and found dozens of two sets of twins in one family and more than dozens of twins. It’s truly amazing, but no triplets.
That takes the cake.

You are quite remarkable in your own right. Keep writing and keep lecturing. The lectures will sharpen your mind and help others to regain their memories. Memory is the most precious thing we have and it can’t be taken away from us. You’ll be up and running soon. Maybe not very fast! HaHaHa. But keep up the good work.we love hearing from you.

Last week I gave my second lecture at NHC in Oak Ridge. I talked at length about my father's peace award for his helping Japan become a democracy and recovery after the war. I started out by saying that my first memory was about Pearl Harbor. This center is filled with many of us in our 70's. 80's and 90's. I am 85. It did surprise me that after the lecture about half of the audience stated it was also their first memory.
I have given this lecture multiple times and I don't recall when over 4 people claimed that Pearl Harbor was their first memory.
My father was named by President Truman to be the lead attorney during the "Tokyo Trial." There were several trials about how the Japanese army abused, tortured, and other crimes against humanity. However, this trial was of the people who were leaders running Japa during WWII. Tojo was known as "The Hitler of Japan." On our 12th birthday in 1947 my twin brother David and I had our pictures taken in the cell with Tojo.
When Father retired in 1972 The Emperor of Japan conferred an international peace award for his service to mankind.
I am using this new computer that a friend sent me to enable me to listen to classical music. In addition to that, I have been writing a book entitled "Logans America Japan." It usually takes me months to write most of my books.
However, in five days I have written about one-fifth of this book. It is three A.M and I got up at one A.M. and will e going back to bed around four.
People love to see their names in books, so I recently wrote in One Political Plaza that people can write about their medical experiences. I am working on the details, but someone can send their experiences and they will be in another book I started two weeks ago. It is called "The impatient Patient." Each person can write their medical experiences in up to a certain number of words for a fee.
Incidentally, I have averaged 1,480 works a day for the last four days.
Remember three things: God loves you and yours, I love you and yours, and neither of us will change. However, those for whom we have prayed have drastically.
I look forward to possible work with people in Onepoliticalplaza.
Dwight
