Seriously, I'm curious...many here feel very strongly about this.....what would you do, realistically if you could ? Like saying " blow up the Middle East" is not very realistic....does anyone here have any realistic ideas of what can and should be done?

ISIS is merely a diversion and while your attention is focused upon the rattling tail, the head is preparing a devastating strike.

You should also consider that the jihadists represent only a single viper.

If I am the president, I would find the sources of ISIS financial funding and have their assets " FROZEN "SEIZED" and "CONFISCATED". I will also find the sources of their weapons, "SEIZED" and "CONFISCATE" them. If Iran or Syria and other middle eastern Terrorists country are their suppliers, I will call on the United Nations and all the Allies to CONFRONT THEM at the same time place and install a very strong economic or all kinds of SANCTIONS against them. While all these things are going on, THE BOMBING WILL NOT STOP UNTIL the ISIS will turn into ASHES. Now, with regards to all the MUSLIMS in the US, we must root them out if we suspect them of REBELLION and INSURRECTION..Obama do not have a "STRATEGY YET", because, he "VOWED" that America will never be in conflict with ISLAM, and declared, "AMERICA IS NO LONGER A CHRISTIAN NATION".

I really like the first part of your post ! I keep seeing on the news that ISIS is well armed...who's arming them ?? Who's funding them ?? I agree with you 100% on the first part anyway

and if those funds are not in the U S how are you going to force other countries to freeze their funds. ISIS is not a country so how are you going to take sanctions against them? By the was read the First Amendment, America never was a Christian nation. Various religions which claim to be Christian may make up the largest percent of people who practice religion in this country, but that does not make this nation a Christian Nation.

I'm tired of arming the wrong guy, we have a bad history of that.

We also have a bad record of starting something and not finishing because politics.

I can tell what I don't want, I don't want to see ISIS coming across the Mexican border, not really worried about seeing them because we won't, until it's too late! The left will not close the border until is too late.

Small cells of 10 or smaller will likely attack drinking water, the electrical grid, thinks like bridges are a prime target and/or large malls.

Once their in the country there is no way to stop them.

You have to do four things to fight ISIS and you have to fight to win, not to play with them.

1. You have to send 30,000 troop back to Baghdadi and take over the equipment we left them.

2. You have to bomb and hit as many targets of ISIS equipment and troops as possible in and I'm talking about a minimum of 200 or more missions per 24 hour day. You will weaken them pretty fast.

3. Then you cut off the supply lines from Syria to Iraq by putting about 30,000 troops on the two border and then you start to squeeze them on two flanks and while you are doing that, you move 20,000 troops on the Iraq and Iran border and you have Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait to close their borders. Now you have ISIS surrounded so, you can bring them to a end.

4. When you are done in Iraq, you will have to move into Syria, where you do the same thing and you can bring Syria civil war to a end.

What ever is done with Isis, can not be determined by one person, that is why we have a congress, and a senate.
Decisions this important are supposed to be determined by, and voted on by our congress, the senate, and the president.
But it appears to be very unlikely, because everybody is sitting around with their hands wrapped around a beer bottle, or a golf club.
Obama went on a well deserved vacation, and played golf for two weeks, because he has been a very busy man.
Congress, on the other hand, has not done a single thing worthwhile, for over 4 years, except trying to screw up peoples' lives, and I've lost track of the vacations they have taken, and this one their on right now, for a whole month.
Not even coming back to work to help make a decision on Isis.
All they have taken time to do, is criticize the president on everything, including Isis.
It would make a reasonable person think that they are just waiting for the president to make the wrong decision, so they will really have something to bitch about.
With so much going on around the world, with wars everywhere, it would be so easy to make a wrong decision, because even one war is very unpredictable, so let us be very grateful that bush, cheney, or McCain aren't calling the shots, because we would be up to our bottom lip in blood.
This president thinks before he acts, although a lot of people aren't use to that, or they think it is a cowards way out, I am not that stupid.
And much as congress would love the president, to be stupid enough to act on his own, he is not that stupid.
