I think that fraud Fauci's credential are very impressive, but they don't reflect the man he really is. Since Trump wasn't really a politician, I believe someone convinced Trump that Fauci should have the job. However, I will admit that I could be wrong. I've had some doubts about Trump since he allowed his son-in-law to become part of his administration.

Fauci and Birx (sp?) were supposedly the experts in matters of health. Trump didn't want to declare a pandemic but Fauci made him feel negligent if he didn't.
