The powers that be have always allowed guns to flow freely into Chicago. They knew the sources were neighboring states, but did nothing to stop it.

Bring your katana, I'll bring a 16" ratchet with a 15/16 socket attached.
May the best man win!
If you're too old, and weak for the challenge, STFU.

And exactly what do you think they could do to stop it?

They have buyers who are breaking the laws. Then they sell the guns illegally. The gun stores ignore the crooked buyers.

Good idea - how do you identify the 'crooked buyers'?

If you carefully read the story, you will notice that certain out of state buyers purchase guns repeatedly. They buy more than the law allows. Then those guns show up at crime scenes in Chicago. Why isn’t this buyer in jail? Why is this gun store still in business?

On this I agree... if Westforth Sports is dealing in illegal activities in the sale of the weapons they need to be shut down not just face a lawsuit for damages of whatever~~
They should be working with Indiana and for the time being suspend their license until this is cleared up or the dealer wins the lawsuit...
Chicago will have an uphill battle on the damage claim but certainly, if what is said here is true then get their license revoked, with the owners never again allowed to trade in weapons !!!
This is how you fight illegal ownership of weapons or underground trafficking of weapons... You go after them, not the legal citizen who does it by the book!
Prove their illicit dealings and shut them down!

Exactly, but why did it get so far without being flagged?

I quite agree. So why isn't law enforcement doing it's job?
The point I would make is it obvious more laws are not needed when enforcement of the current laws is the problem. Why would anyone think enforcement would be any better?

Payoffs, moldy... Threats, perhaps if they didn’t deal, along with all the money, which as you know talks loudest.. Including the money “ the deal with local authorities” to look the other way..
