Not much coverage, especially from fox, whose war chant has been to "arm the Kurds". So in addition to the US, 7 countries have committed to provide arms and supplies, how could fox overlook this news? Doesn't fit the narrative that Obama is once again successful in his strategy.

Much easier to bitch and moan about golf.

The moaning about presidential golf goes back until at least the 1950s. My first awareness of President Eisenhower was when comedians would joke about the golf balls in Ike's pocket.

Who could forget GW Bush riding around in his golf cart after declaring the launch of Gulf War II.

His old man?

When Bush Sr's daughter, Robin, died in 1953 of leukemia (remember, this was W's sister), GHW, and Barbara went golfing the next day in Greenwich, Ct. Ever wonder where W learned his incredible callousness to the deaths, and pain and suffering of others?

The acorn didn't fall very far from the tree(s).

When it comes to golf there are a lot more stories than President Obama's outings on Martha's Vineyard.

You won't hear about those kinds of stories, however, on Fox.

Fox Newscorpse, of course, is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the GOP. It is headed by Roger Aisles, a former Richard Nixon, political operative.

Let me add the actual address with time stamp which proves Bush was not playing golf. Brian is a proven liar as usual

The Oval Office

10:16 P.M. EST

THE PRESIDENT: My fellow citizens, at this hour, American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger.

On my orders, coalition forces have begun striking selected targets of military importance to undermine Saddam Hussein's ability to wage war. These are opening stages of what will be a broad and concerted campaign. More than 35 countries are giving crucial support -- from the use of naval and air bases, to help with intelligence and logistics, to the deployment of combat units. Every nation in this coalition has chosen to bear the duty and share the honor of serving in our common defense.

Nice try Brian but the 2003 invasion of Iraq began at 9:30 PM Eastern time. And shortly after Bush gave an address. I doubt he was playing golf at 10:30 PM

Why won't we hear your lies on FOX? Because they are LIES

Yes she died in 1953. Where is your source that Bush played golf the next day?

He was 29 living in Texas and had not yet run for any elected office. There is the slight possibility he was covered in news due to his war hero status. But I doubt it. It is obvious Brian pulled this from the same place he gets all his facts. His ass

While Robin Bush was dying, Bush Sr. channeled his grief, not only into golf, but by also by founding the Zapata oil company in 1953.

Where did Bush Sr. learn his callousness?

Google: Prescott Bush, FDR, trading with the enemy (Nazi Germany).

The info. from the ass trick? I believe you have perfected the art of that one.

Brian you are a blatant liar. Bush was at her side at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC when she died. So why are you such a blatant liar? Do you think it makes your ideology more acceptable?

Where did I get my information about the time stamp of the launch of the Gulf War? Nearly every media outlet

Yes I understand research. I did mine and exposed your lie that Bush went out and played golf at the start of the Gulf War

Bush Sr. may have visited Sloan-Kettering. It, however, so overwhelmed him with grief that he was out on the links the next day in Greenwich.

Bush family values? What can you expect from a man whose father financed Adolph Hitler and had to be ordered by Franklin Roosevelt to stop trading with the enemy.

Look it up. That's why there is a search bar on browsers....you know......to look things up.

Perhaps golf should be outlawed. It seems to cause an awful lot of heartache. Maybe replaced by table tennis? That way, when a President wants to "get away", he can do it in the basement - and no one would ever know.
