The reports by the media keep referring to the people crossing the border as "immigrants". THEY ARE NOT they are ILLEGAL trespassers violating the laws of the country . They do not belong here as they have not followed the laws to gain the right to come here. Since they believe that our laws do not need to be abidded to by them, they are indicating that they are above the law, something that automatically makes them unwelcome. To refer to them otherwise is like calling a rabid rat a tame and playful housecat.

Actually the proper term is political refuge. Our law allows them to come and request political asylum and receive a hearing before a judge.

If they were people who were running away from the Chinese government and sought refuge in the USA that term would be appropriate. However, since they are breaking our laws because they want handouts, and refuse to work to make their home country a better place, they are really just trespassers.

They are coming to make money for their families. Very few are coming for political reasons. That being said, I think it is time for the republicans to take over this influx and get these people in here properly, safely and get them with their families and working ASAP. The are required to stop in the first country they come to so if they are from Central America they should have stopped in Mexico.

We had an agreement with Mexico to keep them in Mexico until their case could be heard. Biden cancelled that agreement.

You are misinformed. They are lawbreaking illegal aliens. And should be dealt with as such. Any one harboring them should be dealt with as a traitor.
