No, it is not a civil rights violation. If anything, not making sure that only those people who can vote LEGALLY are voting is a civil mandate.

Well, if you've registered to vote and you have a current voter's registration what's the point--to catch people who broke into someone's house so that they can vote at them? How often has that happened...ever???

No! If we are to protect the people's votes, we must guarantee that all votes are legal votes. Every illegal vote cancels a legal one.

The point is you need picture ID for just about anything , why not for something as important as picking your next President / politician?

Then let the government provide the ID instead of making it harder to get ID, just like they make it harder to vote.

PS, you are splitting hairs. Your people demand no ID, not even voter registration. Either deal with the facts or have nothing to say.
