Biden is just a temporarily hire. He is only following the "plan" authored by his handlers. This is not intended to be insulting, just realty. The same is true for all elected officials, they are hired to fill temporary jobs. He will be gone soon and another temporary hire will take his place.
As for the media, biden and his staff don't interact with them much. But, none of them really seem to worry about keeping Americans informed. So, at max we have 3 years and 8 months to find a better person to do the will of US Citizens and let's hope the next election will be better than 2020.
