What would you say about a person

A person who has worked hard all of their life. Played by the rules, followed the laws. Has raised independent, happy, successful kids who now have kids of their own.
Through hard work, has no debt other than a mortgage, and is prepared for an independent future? Asks nothing of anyone, and just wants to live, and let live, and be left alone.

What would you say about that person?

Sounds like my dad... Except the mortgage is paid off...

I'd enjoy having a beer with this guy 🍺🍺

What if you knew him, and his family voted for Trump, and supported his policies?

Same, or different?

Same. Although I do think he and my brother are misguided. I've listened to all your rhetoric for the past several years and allow you to have your opinions. I still go back to what Jesus said about "as you have done to the least of these" and "they will know you are my followers by your love for one another."

I would say nothing but great things.... other than a mortgage you're describing me, add obnoxiously good looking with an apple bottom that keeps on giving and you pretty much posted my picture

The following laws thing im a little sketchy on, someone should write those down some place so everyone knows them

You allow him to have his own opinions?? How special that is. That right there is what is wrong with you liberals.... You allow...Hahaha.

Keep going back to what Jesus said....... a little less cherry picking about what he said would be nice.

I'd say they sound like a fine upstanding citizen that I would love to have had as another parent on my daughter's soccer team many years ago LOL.

If they voted for Trump I would have a few beers with them sometime and ask them why and if they would do it again with what has gone on since Nov. 3. If they don't push Trump on me I won't push against Trump to them.

Have not really had a problem with that with friends and family. Only have one ex neighbor friend from the last four years and he just could not stop bringing up Trump every chance he had, trying to sway me into the Trump light. Ditched him the third time I kicked him out of the house. 3 strikes ya know!

As far as his policies, a lot of us non-Trumpers agree with many of his policies in principle. But the way Trump went about most of them was like a bull in a china shop. His policy specifics and particularly the implementation of his policies was often poorly planned, poorly coordinated and communicated, and seriously deficient, especially on an international stage where individual country pride and politics at home mean bullying without allowing others to save face and feel respected just does not work.

Trump was always worried about short term benefits he could gain for his own prestige. A lot of these things take a little time. Because of this and other things like not having sufficient expertise or not listening to the expertise he did have, created what I think most would say was an overall failure that will take years to clean up.

So anyway, you asked!

I don't care who any body else votes for I care about who I vote for. I am an elected public official serving on a board with two others who voted differently than myself. We support each other in our common goal and we get things done together by supporting one another.

See, that's where we differ. You all keep insisting that I am WRONG and WON'T allow me to have my opinion!

You stated that really well, and I agree with most of it. I'm sure most would to some degree.
I can't stand him but I don't hate him either. He tried his best in a completely hostile environment, and I sort of admire him for that.

So, can you now explain to me why millions like me who supported his policies are talked about like pieces of shot by the left, and the media?

This is the stupidest crap I've ever seen in my life!!

Kindergardenerish shit if you ask me.

But, here we are. So, go ahead and eat your Brussels sprouts on a bed of cottage cheese, and I won't hate you for it. Even though I should.😒

Just don't say it's trump. Anyone has the right to vote for who ever they wish.

So, I can't say who I voted for without fear of retribution from you?

He would have been trying to save “The American Experiment” for others to be able to follow in his footsteps, like so many have successfully done in the past.

This election was the end of our form of government. The liberal/leftist/communists supported by the big corporations they supposedly hate are in full control. This is going to be Obama’s 3rd & 4th terms. Biden is inconsequential, Harris is an Obama/Michelle clone, racist, Anti-American, narcissistic disaster.

Any kind of meaningful election reform does not have a chance, so elections will be a sick joke from now on, contests between who is the most leftist, until the trash that has been elected runs out of our money, & a violent Revolution occurs. It won’t be w/guns. It will be by starving people using whatever they can find.
