Some strange replies In this blessed land we live in, there is no needs of coups. The people can vote an incombent in or out.I believe that this democracy is being destroyed from within. The idea that corporations are treated as people is an example. If they are people, why can't they be punished with a loss of freedom like any other feline? Another example is that the deep pockets in the political world that can now contribute tons of big bucks. Equating freedom of speech with political contributions is crazy. Totally agree. If I could have one political wish to clean it all up, it would be public funding ONLY for all House, Senate and Presidential campaigns. And no soft money at all for political parties or issues. Period. Then our politicians could do their jobs free of undue influence.
