Are you really that dumb? A Tomahawk is a tool and weapon, the rest are names of indigenous nations and that of an honored warrior. The term Redskin is not one of honor, it is derogatory, a racial slur and insult.

Don't forget they're changing the name of the Cleveland Indians. I haven't heard what they are changing it to. I'm not sure I would be offended if they came with a name that was about German heritage (that happens to be my background). You see, had I had an Indian or Redskin background, I think I would have been honored to have a baseball team, or any other team for that matter, consider or dignify my ancestry by naming my family background accordingly.

Canucks- a slur to those from Canada.
Yankees- a slur derived from the name of a Dutch trader of questionable reputation.
Redskins- a slur against native Americans.
Cowboys- at one time a description of a profession, later meaning one who operates on his own outside of the chain of command.
These are a few that come to mind. Anyone care to add their favorites to the list.
