The Story of The "Siege" at Ruby Ridge according to FBI Grand Jury Testimony, US Marshals involved in the cover up, the media, and the story from the Weaver's perspective... Today, you are considered an "extremist" by the ADL and SPLC if you think the actions taken here by the Federal Government were out of hand. For the first time in US history, the FBI was given permission from cabinet members of the George HW Bush administration to change their Rules of Engagement to, "can and should shoot to kill" effectively rendering the US Constitution useless. A young boy was shot in the back and killed by US Marshals, and FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi later shot and killed Vicky Weaver while she was unarmed and holding her 10 month old baby in her arms. This incident serves as an educational tool to all Americans on just how useless our coveted Constitution is to the Federal Government when you cross them. I do not endorse violence towards the Federal Government, and do not endorse the religious views of the Weavers. This is simply the closest I could come to the real truth without media/Government disinformation. You have to ask yourself, even in the age of information, why is it so hard to find the truth about Ruby Ridge? See the following links for more information -

I have a friend who was a Deputy United States Marshall at that time. He wasn't involved with Ruby Ridge, but he had friends who were. He told me,
"I knew two of the guys in the woods that weaver's son engaged. It was a mess from the start. If the dog would not have smelled the surveillance team nothing would have happened that day. It all ended badly. Stupid ATF case was bad from the start. Weaver would have been acquitted if he would have just gone back to court. Travesty of bad decisions all around."
The fact remains that it wasn't Randy Weaver's fault he didn't make it to the court appearance. It was all due to a snafu on the part of the Feds. They set him up to murder him and his family with extreme prejudice!
At the Nuremberg trials: Principle IV states: "The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him". This principle could be paraphrased as follows: "It is not an acceptable excuse to say 'I was just following my superior's orders".
In my opinion, the officers involved should be charged with first degree murder, and those who assisted the operation should be charged and tried as accessories to first degree murder. Until this happens, we will never again be "One nation under God." This travesty screams for justice!

If we are ever going to get anyone to open the case again and get these murderers charged and tried for their crimes against Americans, we need to raise public awareness of the facts involved. The best way to do it is to get as many people as possible to share the link below or copy & paste it and post it in as many places as possible. I would also suggest you copy and paste the link and send it to every state legislator and the current governor of Idaho.

Ruby Ridge. For anyone who thinks Government is yo... (show quote)

I do find it interesting that Mr. Weaver does not believe in God. After all he seems to be such a strong supporter of the Constitution. And to hear "Cons" tell it, the Constitution is all about God. This country was founded upon "Christian" principles. Just seems like a paradox, to me.

"The fact remains that it wasn't Randy Weaver's fault he didn't make it to the court appearance..."

Not knowing this part of the story, why wasn't it Mr. Weaver's fault that he "failed to appear", in court? Because if you "fail to appear", in court, a "bench warrant", for your arrest, is usually issued. Just curious, haven't heard this part of the story.

Apparently, Mr. Weaver received a notice to appear with a different date than his actual court date. His notice was dated later than the court calendar. This I can believe, because something similar happened to me over a traffic ticket. I was granted a continuance, which never was listed on the calendar, and a failure to appear warrant was issued for my arrest. Fortunately, I had the paperwork from the courthouse showing I had, indeed, been granted a continuance, and the inconvenience was worth watching the judge who erroneously issued the warrant ream a couple of people new ones. I could have filed suit, but never did. It is not difficult to believe that someone who avoided courthouses could have been unaware of the disrepancy.
This does not explain how Lon Horiuchi "accidentally" shot an unarmed woman holding an infant at a distance of less than 100 yards. Nor does it explain the shooting of young Weaver and the family dog. Weaver was cleared and awarded a multi-million dollar settlement, and Horiuchi was promoted, rather than prosecuted, so I guess everyone is happy, except Randy Weaver, who is supposed to figure the money makes up for a wife and son, and the murderer walks free with a promotion. This happened on Bush Sr.'s watch.

Yeah, I don't disagree with the last part of your post, but I never heard the story about him being sent the wrong date, when to appear in court. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

This illustrates a point that I have tried to make, about Federal Agencies out of control. Although Horiuchi was FBI, I believe, the BATFE routinely commits, with impunity, far worse crimes than it prosecutes. Even other Treasury Agents have spoken out against their egregious violations of the law, and apparent immunity from prosecution. The appearance of various Patriot and Militia groups did not occur in a vacuum. These were occasioned, in no small part, by the trampling of rights and flouting of the law be Federal Agents, who appeared (and still appear ) immune from prosecution. Lon Horiuchi is an unprosecuted murderer. Period. An FBI sniper does not "accidentally" shoot an unarmed woman holding an infant from a distance of less than 100 yards, yet that was the story that we were expected to believe. Oopsy-daisy.

He was issued a court date that was after the one that the judge had, which is why they went out there after him. I personally think he was stupid for not simply going with them, since he had the paper showing his court date. The problem is, he didn't trust the government one bit and I can't say as I blame him, since they were the ones that conned him into breaking the law in the first place.

As for shooting his son and wife, there was no call for that and I believe the people involved should have been put in prison for it, but instead they got promotions. Randy did finally beat the wrap, but it cost him his son and wife before it was all over. If he had just gone with them, none of that would have happened.
