we all know Trump chose the easy way out, no investment, ABSOLUTELY ZERO IN INFRASTRUCTURE AND HE CONTROLLED EVERYTHING FOR 2 YEARS. No solutions on education, below zero on healthcare, Obama ticked off the list and it is long on what Trump didn’t do besides appoint judges and make a lot of noise but no action.
He gave his tax cut to the rich and corporations with no requirement to invest in America and they just put it in their pockets and did share buybacks, juicing the market even more and screamed bloody murder when the pandemic came as they had nothing left.
So when the pandemic hit Trump had a choice. Take control, wipe it out like so many countries have or ? Well he panicked and continues to and has no plan. It is obvious to everyone that Trump has no clue and has a visceral disdain for any expertise. Because of this and his total focus on himself, 230,000 Americans (actually more according to the CDC) have died and we are at 90,000 cases a day of covid way surpassing the worst of it in April when Trump held back PPE as Jared Kushner put it, ‘its ours not theirs’ in response to a request from states for PPE.
