Should the people in some States not cast their vote for president as desired by democratic leadership, those leaders plan on discarding the people's votes and appoint their own electoral college delegates who will.

Oops! My bad, I meant REPUBLICAN leadership, not democratic.

Why bother holding sham elections?

Don't bother with the "rigged election" and/or "voter fraud" rational, because we hear that mantra every two years and every two years proves it to be hogwash.

If you can't win - cheat.

The electoral college protects us from "mob rule." If it were up to the Marxist party there would be no preventative against the "popular" vote. Our government's legal operation depends on vote that is representational of both the urban and suburban areas of America. Living in Eugene, Oregon, for example, I find it, in terms of property tax, a relief to live in a non-anexed part of the city away from the greed of our democratic city council.

Sounds Good !
Words to live by!
They never ask you
How did you win?
They only ask,
Did you win!

Answer me one question.
Why do we bother Voting?
If a Democrat wins, we can’t use the popular vote.
If republican governors can pick their own
Electors for the State. Then it’s done.
We don’t need to vote. Republican Governor's in states with the lowest populations. Can gather the most EC- Votes.
This is Minority Rule .
Republicans have won 7 of the last 8 elections without the popular vote.
So why bother.

Not hogwash this time. Did you catch the Eric Early/Shifty Schiff debate last night?
The Democrats can only cast blame, but Early won that debate hands down. Send me a mail in ballot, I’ll vote for Early. Schiff has lied for twenty years. That’s enough.

By that logic, the losers of the popular vote should always govern. That's how you prevent 'mob rule' and letting the majority govern.

The democrats want the largest states and biggest cities to run the country. Screw the less populated states and towns. This is why American History and Civics are so important. If you guys had taken it, you’d know why we have the Electoral College.

Yes, and the Democrats, having learned how difficult it is to cheat, have become more innovative and, using Covid-19 as the perfect blind, concocted the Mail-In Voting Scam© in order to nullify the votes altogether and get the courts involved just long enough to get past the Electoral College deadline, then cram in the Speaker of the House.

"Voters, schmoters!" Pelosi exclaims, pouring out the last of the wine, "we need to grab back the White House before Trump unravels all our agendas! Now somebody open another bottle! {hic!}"

What makes you think we don't know why we have the electoral college?

It has been projected that by 2050, given current trends, that 30% of the population will choose 70% percent of the Senate. Screw the more populated states and cities. You just want the small states and villages to run the country.

What you don't want to acknowledge is the fact that this is the United States. We are made up of 50 states. Each state has Electoral votes. We are a democratic republic, not a democracy. Pure democracy is anarchy.

Puleeze.

The history of the electoral college belies your simplistic bromides.

Your piss poor attempt at projecting is a common trait of the left.

I bet snaggle tooth Maddow who is a champion liar is your tutor.
