Let's just throw everything against the wall and see what sticks.
Trump was hoisted on his own petard. He lowered the expectations for Biden so much that all Biden had to do was breath and put together a couple of sentences. Clearly Biden was able to do that.
With the help of drugs. A more self reflective person might have questioned whether her strategy backfired. But not Trump. He just keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper.
