That is one of the most blatantly dishonest "news" reports I've ever seen.
President Trump is abiding by his oath to protect the nation in accordance with the U.S. Constitution in moving to restore order after the local government has proven itself incompetent, unwilling and even complicit in the failure to defend its own citizens and their property.
The actions of the "good citizens," 1st in Seattle, and then Portland, of rioting, looting, assaulting their fellow citizens and wanton destruction of property should be perceived by all reasonable thinking people as declarations of war against our nation.
By the definition of the United States Constitution, the occupation of an entire city center, the building of a wall, and the declaration that any inner city area is now an "autonomous zone and no longer part of America" comprises an actual act of war against our nation.
The Democrat party has, for decades, controlled these cities, to their detriment.
Their police are disrespected due to the one-party Democrat engendered policies under whom they have received their orders, and under whom they have been forced to operate.
It is President Trump's duty to enforce law and order in the midst of chaos and wanton destruction. It is not "declaring war against US citizens, - but against criminals who are rioting, looting, burning property, and assaulting law abiding citizens.
This is upholding the most basic responsibilities of government and the most basic expectations of citizens from their government.
