Great Mountain Peaks

Introduction:
These are the words of life!
I have often stood on top of a high mountain and looked across the range, spotting the peaks towering out of the mist. Mountain peaks speak! They say, “Look at me”!
This edition is a broad, sweeping view across the major peaks of prophecy.
The mountains are always there, they represent stability, strength and beauty. From the mountains came the Law, the Sermon on the Mount, the Olivet discourse, the Ascension, the Transfiguration, and much more.
I’ve identified the progressing, great drama of all time, culminating in these end times, as seen by the prophets of old. Many of the prophesied dramas have come to pass. Many are occurring right now, and some are still ahead.
The best way to look at a fine painting is to stand back away from it, so that you can see the overall picture, not concentrating on all the finer brush strokes.
The unarguable conclusion in all of this is that Bible prophecy is real, true, trustworthy, inerrant, informative, and predictive with 100% accuracy.
What is your measure of truth? We know CNN’s measure is what the world and its god says. The Interfaith movement’s measure is unity. Islam’s measure relates to world domination. The new world order’s measure is control and resulting false peace.
The measure of most people’s truth is what they think, based on group think! It is – Me, myself and I. Me now – I am!
►Those who are spiritually led and wise, have as their measure and strong anchor, the mountain peaks of Bible prophecy.
The mountain peaks are:
●The Law given on Mount Sinai. ●The cross of Calvary. ●The church age born at Pentecost. ●The Rapture of the church, the rewarding of the church, and the marriage feast. ●The salvation of the Jews. ●The seven-year Tribulation and advent of Antichrist and the wrath of God. ●The Second Coming of Messiah. ●The Millennium. ●The final new heaven and earth.
The mountain peaks are also echoed in the seven feasts of the Lord and their prophetic fulfilment:
●Passover (The cross). Unleavened bread (Sinless perfection). Firstfruits (Resurrection). (●Pentecost (Church age) (May 31) ●Rosh Hashanah (Rapture Trib start) (Sept 18th - 20th) ●Atonement (Wrath of God) (September 28). ●Tabernacles (Second Coming / Millennium) (October 3)
●The great drama is reflected in the seven dispensations through which the world has gone. (Ephesians 1:10, Ephesians 3:2, Hebrews 1:1, Colossians 1:25.)
The great drama moves from:
●Fall of man at Eden to the cross to the resurrection and to re-creation.
●The drama is seen from the Exodus to the Second Exodus, to the Promised Land to the Promised Land of salvation for Israel.
●The drama is seen in the creation of the church to it’s great apostasy in the dark ages, to the failure of the church in its divisions (denominations). ●It is seen in the victory of the church in great evangelism and the ultimate victory of the church. ●It is seen in the broad sweeping view of paradise lost to paradise restored, from Genesis to Revelation.
The major mountain peaks for today are God’s plan for Israel, including their birth as a nation, suddenly, in one day in 1948. (Isaiah 66:8) The restoration of Jerusalem in 1967. The soon coming spiritual birth of Israel after the rapture, and a great worldwide revival.
The mountain peaks are seen in the mounting sin, evil and wickedness of man too:
They are seen from the Flood to Babel, to Rome, to the tribulation, to the Great White Throne judgement of all the wicked dead.
The mountain peaks of sin are also seen in:
●Hell. ●The bottomless pit. ●Hades. ●Sheol. ●The eternal lake of fire. ●Outer darkness. ●Torment. ●The prison of torment. ●The doom of sinners.
All of these events were seen and written down by the prophets of old in the Bible. They have all come to pass literally (except for those awaiting fulfillment), that is the pattern.
The great plan of God:
Bible prophecy must be your primary guiding force and light in these dark, dingy, dangerous days, through to eternal light of life. All the mountain peaks of prophecy collectively, are the plan of God for the ages and show us the way.
The kingdom of God is sin-free. It is holy, healthy, wealthy and well. It always has been and always will be. It is a kingdom of great victory. And it is you, judged, refined and made new, that will be part of this great eternal kingdom.
Did you know that you are great? You may have some rat characteristics in you now, but they are in the outer fleshly life, which is soon to go the way of all rats.
You are a piece of useless dirty rubbish. You are a most valuable, precious, spectacular being. The former is of the flesh unredeemed, and the latter of the Spirit.
That’s God’s plan for you!
The great plan of the devil:
Obviously the satanic forces out there attack the will, word and plans of God. Satan tries to bring in confusion, disruption, lies and error.
Satan is called the “god of this world.” His most effective tool of deception is the voice of the world – the mass media. Today it is becoming a huge mountain peak of evil.
The following paragraph is a compilation of verses relating to the mass media (scribes).) It paints a consistent, incredible, so relevant picture of the media today.
●They spoke against God. ●Woe to the scribes, full of dead men’s bones, you shut up the kingdom of heaven for men and neither do you enter. ●The scribes were indignant at the wonderful things the Lord did therefore they sought to kill Him. ●The Lord sent warnings to them by His messengers, but they despised the warning and scoffed at the prophets, until the wrath of God arose with no remedy. ●Look at the false pen of the scribe, they have rejected the word of the Lord, therefore they have no wisdom. ●The Lord has shut their eyes so that they do not understand. ●They do not speak aright, they went their own way. ●Truth has been cut from their mouth. ●Truth has fallen in the street.

The mass-media will soon be caught in their own traps! - Watch and see.
The prognosis for the world is not good, but the Bible said exactly that numerous times, 4000 years ago, and then 2000 years ago, so what’s new! Of course that really upsets people who have and are finding their lives in the world.
We are just starting to enter extreme “perilous times” (2 Timothy 3:1). Interestingly the original word for “perilous times” is Strong’s G5467, meaning: “Fierce, harsh, savage times of stress.”
The broad overview of the mountain peaks shows the failure of man to create a world of peace and victory. We are now on the brink of the greatest failure of man and his world ever. The cause is the incarnation of pride, rebellion, and failure to repent.
►We are on the brink of the great victory of the God-man – the true church.
Mountain peaks of deception:
The greatest end-time sign our Lord warned against was deception (Matthew 24:34)
Did you know that the Bible speaks of truth and error travelling together.
There are two white horse riders, two lions, two lambs, two princes, two kings, two kingdoms, two crowned rulers, two Lords. Two brides, two raised from the dead, two banquets, two bloodlines.
You need to dig into these “mountains” to see truth and deception side by side.
One of the great mountain peaks of deception unfortunately is right in the church. It is the host of false prophets, false teachers, blinded in their pride. The most damaging being false prophecy and teaching relating to Israel.
In these end times the Bible speaks of the “Lord’s watchmen seeing eye to eye” as Israel is regathered. (Isaiah 52:8) At the same time, massive deception is striking the church, through false watchmen and teachers, forever getting it wrong.
The mountain peak called Israel:
Whatever Israel does, knowingly or not, it can’t assimilate into the new world order. God has ordained it to be so:
Numbers 23:9 “From the hills, I behold him, (Israel) a people dwelling alone, not reckoning itself among the nations.”
You see, Israel is a mountain peak hidden in the mist. But the mist is clearing. Many are awakening to God’s incredible plan for the close of the ages, and it’s all happening now. What a privilege we have to see it, and become part of it. Thank you Lord!
We are on the verge of great miracles occurring for Israel. Something is about to transpire, suddenly that will cause them to see, recognise and welcome their Messiah.
Don’t you think it’s interesting that the “sign” spoken of below, causes Jews to become evangelists to the Gentiles?
Isaiah 66:19 “I will set a sign among them (Jews)...they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.”
Isaiah 66:8 “Who has heard of such a thing, shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?”
Zechariah 3:9 “...I will remove the iniquity of that land (Israel) in one day.”
So, what could this “sign” be that causes such an awakening amongst the Jews? It can only be the rapture of the church, because evangelism is the duty of the church – now missing.
It’s because of the time period we are in prophetically, that everything is important and is adding up to paint a clear picture.
The big reason for the plagues of Egypt was because Pharaoh would not initially “let My people go.” Now we are faced with the coming of the same plagues, but now spoken of in the Revelation, and the reason is the same.
The world must get its hands off Israel.
The mountain peaks that were hidden in the mist are now emerging, to take part in the final role.
The new normal:
Many churches are prophesying that all these virus troubles will go away and we can return to normal. They want to go back to normal where ministers can fleece their flock, ignore the mass murder of the unborn, support the redefining of marriage and support the moral decay, and big sin of the world, and come against God’s plans for Israel.
What does the new normal look like: For the Christian the new normal is a repentant normal! That would be mainly repentance for accommodating the big sins of the world and being silent on them.
For the unsaved, the new normal is a life of continued, worsening sin and degeneration, pushing the limits of sin as if there is no God. God has held back until now, but now He answers with judgement.
The world’s view of wanting to return to normal, or the way things were is in fact nothing but defiance of God!
Acts 17:30 “These times of ignorance, God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.” (Acts 14:16)
There is always safety in repentance, and danger in refusing to.
The mountain of temptation:
There is some significance to the temptation of our Lord on a mountain peak by the devil. Satan offered our Lord food, drink and all the material wealth of the world, which were his to give to Yeshua. Our Lord declined and rebuked Satan.
Far too many prancing preaches offering their flock all the materialism of the world. They are teaching their people to “find their lives in the world” (Matthew 10:39)
They are teaching their flock to glorify the flesh rather than crucify it.
Of course there is nothing wrong with material possessions, as long as it’s all kept in subservience to the cross.
It is the pride of life that motivates many of these preachers. (1 John 2:16)
The non-negotiable God:
There are many things that we can say are not cast in stone for us, in a legalistic manner. God’s will allows us to have much flexibility in what we do. But there are some things, especially the bigger issues of life that are not variable and are dogmatic.
Beware, our loving gentle Lamb is also the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Jews), and He is starting to roar.
On many occasions, sometimes on foot, I have looked at close range into the eyes of a lion, out in the wilds. I tell you this: A lion’s roar takes your breath away, but looking into its eyes at close quarters is thrilling, shocking and terrifying. You can see its soul! You immediately start questioning your salvation!
There is also something wonderful and terrifying about the walk of a lion in the wild. He just goes where he wants. His walk is a swaggering, strutting march! His walk is so confident it's frightening!
There is something about that roar, those eyes and that walk! You don’t negotiate with them unless your name is Daniel!
Our Lord is a Gentle Giant. He is a Lamb, but He is a Lamb that roars, bites and devours too, if you get on the wrong side of Him and you have pushed Him to the limits of forgiveness.
He is a Lamb whose name is Lion!
Hosea 11:10 “They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars then His sons shall come trembling from the west.”
Of course He is no Lion to His own. He is our God, our Father, out Friend and our Lover. But there must still be in us an awareness of His awesomeness and an understanding of His ways with a world running low on grace.
We are absolutely blessed, safe, secure, accepted and loved in the fear of the Lion!
2 Peter 3:11-12 “Since all these things will be dissolved what manner of persons ought you to be looking for and hastening the coming of the Lord.”
What sort of person are you? Are you preparing yourself in holiness and godliness, looking for the coming of God?
Virus scenarios:
Possibly the corona virus will gradually dissipate and disappear on its own. People will be happy and return to their despicable normal. Possibly a vaccine will be discovered and people will rejoice worshipping their virus-saviour and return to their self serving despicable selves. These scenarios will not divert our Lord. They will result in new terrors of judgement.
The winning scenario: Masses will repent and get saved (as they are already in this awakening now). Many casual Christians will return to the Lord like a prodigal with his pants on fire. All the stupid people of the world will continue in their despicable ways and judgement will fall on their heads. It is impossible for unsaved man to escape coming judgement.
Finally
The greatest mountain peak of prophecy seen by the patriarchs, the prophets, the apostles and our Lord Himself and revealed in the Old Covenant and New is the wonderful end for all true believers.
The conclusion in all of this is that your life is not on some haphazard journey. It is all a part of the grand prophetic scheme of things. You can trust Bible prophecy supremely.
Oh yes, did I say it? The rapture is very near!!
