This morning I tried to get a haircut. I'm beginning to look like a 1969 hippy. I checked out three barber shops and everybody including the barbers were not wearing masks. Sooner or later, this will lead to a spread in the pandemic locally. The only place I considered safe was the barber shop in Wall- Mart, where I made an appointment. South Carolina was not hit hard by the virus yet. In my area, Myrtle Beach, this is because all the hotels were shut down, the beaches were all closed, The golf courses all had strict regulations about how many people could play at one hole, social distancing was strictly enforced and few people had any reason to come here.
That was then, this is now. All that is ending. People are coming here from all over the East Coast. Vacancies, are now impossible to find. When a second surge hits, it will be devastating. Everybody, please act in accordance with the measures that will keep you safe, and slow down the second wave that will come.

I cut NPPs hair and have for years, so we don't have to worry about that. I learned how to cut hair from Diane who ran a dog grooming shop for years but also cuts her husbands hair. She makes him bark before she cuts it. I tell NPP to do the same if he wants his hair cut. It has worked that way for YEARS. You men are so easy to train!!!
Quit wetting your panties and go get a haircut for gosh sakes.

Just go to your local Dolla Gentral and buy a set of clippers for 10 bucks, and mow it off yourself. Don't sweat the small s**t if you're that worried about getting sick.

Read a book once called how to kill 11 million people. It’s about how a relatively small number of armed Nazis managed to talk millions of Jews into getting on box cars headed for concentration camps. Always found it hard to believe; until now.

It's nuts!! I have the recommended clippers, and was gonna do just that myself, but a lady I work with cuts hair on the side, so she fixed me up at her house with no mask, and cold beer. A win-win!
Don't tell anybody though!
I don't want the black helicopters coming after her!

There are some videos out there on how to cut your own hair. They look pretty straightforward formsimple cuts. I admit I haven’t tried it yet though I will be soon.

And you women are always on the rag and in a tither. Lighten up, and just lay back and enjoy it, like Slo Joe mentioned to Tara Reade.

SWMBO, The only thing I care about is safety. I got the haircut at Wall-Mart today and it sucked. It was too long, and uneven. It cost twice as much as a barber shop, but I trimmed a bit, and now is at least presentable. The main thing is I felt safe.

That's why I cut NPPs hair, over fifty years of living with him what every we have transferred back and forth is now a normal part of us both and I do a pretty good job, it looks better than when a barber does it. However, it cost him a LOT MORE, he has to put up with me, and sometimes that is not easy.

Why would you even imagine, at your age, going to a barber shop or anywhere else, where no one is wearing a mask? Those places are for the young people to get infected and help develop herd immunity.
