A Pole Shift During the Rapture?

Isaiah contains some of the most graphic descriptions of the planet “reorienting” itself after a pole shift during the coming Day of the Lord. Isaiah 24:1, “Behold the Lord maketh the earth empty, maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down and scattered abroad the inhabitants thereof.”
Isaiah 24:19-20 (NLV)

The earth is broken in pieces. The earth is torn apart. The earth is very shaken. The earth turns from one side to the other side like a drunk man. It shakes like a tent because its sin is heavy upon it. It will fall, never to rise again.

Isaiah 13:13 (NLV)
I will make the heavens shake. And the earth will be shaken from its place with the anger of the Lord of All in the day of His burning anger.

In Luke roaring seas and strange tides only adds to the scriptural evidence of a pole shift at the rapture.


Pole Shift in the Psalms
“Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,” Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” Psalm 46:2,3)

Note how the psalmist describes “roaring,” “troubled” and swelling waters. This mirrors Luke’s description of troubled and roaring seas. Luke 21:25 - (NLV) “There will be special things to look for in the sun and moon and stars. The nations of the earth will be troubled and will not know what to do. They will be troubled at the angry sea and waves.”

Also the earth is said to be “removed.” This parallels Isaiah 13:13 description of the earth being removed from her place, perhaps knocked out of her orbit. The most significant in Psalm describes mountains being carried into the midst of the sea. This is the identical phenomenon depicted in Revelation’s rapture pole shift passage.

Revelation 6:14 (KJV)
“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”

Pole Shift on Day of the Lord
All of the above portends a likely pole shift on the Day of the Lord. The timing is pegged to be at the rapture by the scripture below.

Matthew 24:29-31 (KJV)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:24-27 (KJV)
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Luke 21:25-27 (KJV)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

From a non-biblical point of view Edgar Cayce famous physic who lived from 1877-1945 saw pole shift occurring at the appearance of Christ:
“The earth will be broken up in the Western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan will go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed in the twinkling of an eye ( Rapture happens in the twinkling of an eye). Land will appear off the east coast of America. There will be upheavals in the Artic & Antarctic that will make for eruptions of volcanoes in the torrid areas and there will be shifting then of the poles – so where there has been those frigid areas will then be semi-tropical with fern & moss growing while warm areas before will become less so.” – Edgar Cayce

Christ at the Helm
It is noteworthy from a biblical perspective that those witnessing the violent culmination of earth’s history (spirit realm) see it as being relatively brief in duration as not extending much beyond the beginning of the 21st century and will eventually lead into a new era of “peace & brotherhood” on earth the coming millennium with Christ at the helm.

Relevant to our topic of pole shift examples of God manipulating the spin or movement of the globe we can look to Joshua for instance as God stopped the earth from rotating so the Israelites could win a major battle that needed more daylight. Joshua 10:13,14 – And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.

And Isaiah the prophet cried out to the Lord 2 Kings 20:11 – “And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.”

Assuming the Lord had no problem halting the earth’s rotation or causing it to spin backward he would have no difficulty causing it to tilt on its axis.

So evidence points to the fact according to scripture that God has manipulated the earth before and the prophecies say it is going to happen again we believe at the time of the rapture.

Nothing New Under the Sun
As the Bible says there is nothing new under the sun; it is interesting to point out that today’s scientists know that the earth shifted back in Noah’s day as the flood started. It is believed a nearby planet or moon passed close to the earth causing the fountains of the deep to erupt, the sun to grow dark, and high winds blew entire mountain ranges down along with heavy rain lasting 40 days and 40 nights. Entire continents were moved out of place as a pole shift would do and new lands emerged later out of the sea.

God at this time elected to kill off wicked mankind with the flood because there thought s were only evil continually. A subspecies, the giants, concocted by the fallen angels, had taken over much of the food supply as regular man at that time was enslaved to these beasts.

It is believed by many civilizations at the time, who recorded this in their history, that this close passing of this planet caused the pole shift knocking the earth out of orbit causing conditions to drastically change which in turn disrupted life and the physical world at that time.

Lucifer Telescope
It is now known through the Vatican telescope Lucifer that there appears to be a possible comet approaching the sun that they predict will slingshot around the sun passing close to the earth sometime in the not to distant future that may cause similar disruptions on the earth like in Noah’s day.
We shall see as time marches on towards the rapture. Are you rapture ready?

In the rapture the pole shift results in Russia becoming the arctic. The United States becomes tropical. This all occurs after the rapture. Those who have not embraced Christ will not be raised up in the rapture and will have to go through the next phase on earth, the tribulation. That’s Revelation!
