One I just remembered a few days ago was the x ray machine in shoe stores. Remember trying on a new pair of shoes and then sticking your feet in the x ray machine and make sure there was enough room for all of your toes. I think they phased out about 1948. Dangerous x rays.

Remember on the fire truck I was engineer on there were two buttons like that beside the clutch pedal. One was for the siren and the other was for what I am not supposed to say. Great remembering and I do remember all. I also remember the smallpox shot wasn't a needle or a gun but I think was a glass vial that was scratched on my arm. I had my wife check and we cannot find it now so I guess I have outgrown smallpox.
