Did my friends on OPP Survive Wuhan Virus?

My wife whom suffers immune system diseases and myself survived. My wife's elderly father in congestive heart failure didn't get so much as a runny nose.
+/- eight weeks and we both have stopped coughing, majority of the painful aches associated with the Corona virus, loss of taste and smell has returned but the dragging fatigue is the worst either of us have experienced, even difficult to describe. Neither of us subjected ourselves to be hospitalized but were within hours.
Watching my wife rapidly decline in the late evening, my hours throughout the night were spent in deep and earnest prayers, by morning she awoke symptom free except for the, what seems endless fatigue.
What we have known all along....God is great, he is not an ATM for every request, need and want, but knows our needs and wants, he shows up in our darkest hour and lastly, it was not our appointed time and if so then he blessed me with more time in this life with her.
The virus has (at least) two Hiv proteins and once contracted never departs ones body.
The virus can reactivate
There may be no immunity and once contracted, can get sick again.
It has already mutated leaving any progress of a vaccine useless, leaving scientists in a mad dash to restart the process.
It was modified in a laboratory
With each mutation it could become less contagious, less deadly or the opposite can happen.
Our scientists have more unanswered questions than answered about this (evil) man modified virus.
The Chinese population are not to blame, the scientists that released it along with a corrupt government are.
CNN, MSNBC and many others border treason with their hateful lies and misinformation designed to control the public political opinions.

No one I know has caught this thing, there hasn't been a case within 150 miles of us.

I've been told by the VA my immune system compromised but hey I die, I die. I'd rather live on my feet though. So yeah I've had the coughing, sneezing, runny nose, sneezing, eyes running. Being looked at like the anti-Christ. After three tests all the same negative I wondered what others were afraid of. I knew, but if it didn't get me I'd guess most would be okay. I'm glad you and your wife are okay Jack and I agree about the media and disinformation.

As "We" walk through our life together in this pandemic and economic reset, more than ever I believe it's in all our best interests to leave the infighting to politicians.
What "IF" is on many Americans minds when we hear the possibilities of an economic melt down, food shortages, businesses closing permanently....Good bye to Mall shopping as Macy's, JC Penny's fold, chain restaurants, hair salons and our daily routines are forever changed.
Expert's continue coming forward telling us they have discovered two HIV proteins, smallpox signatures and worse yet, more questions than answers about this virus. Many who survive near death are dying a few months later of kidney failure, heart failure from this virus.
We have challenges before that many are not yet aware of with severity at levels depending on the "If's".
There are no politics for Americans living and surviving in our neighborhoods, it's time to put down our political sword towards one another and realize the times we live. Our government (all parties ) are broken and will not be solutions or come to our rescue.

I had something that had me dragging so bad I had to stop every ten or twenty feet to catch my breath
walking up the driveway...can't say for sure but it seems possible I had it. It has seemed like I have been fighting something off for weeks with Zicam Zinc and vitamin C, the stuff really works to help fight off colds and flu, I'd think it would help with this one too.

We called our doctor and had a virtual appointment. Our doctor ordered a test, with an address to a drive up testing center not published to the public. Test results 5 days later were positive. We were given very firm orders to stay at home and not go to the hospital unless doctor ordered.
Yes, shortness of breath is a red flag. Like you, walking only a few feet caused extreme shortness of breath and increased heart beat.
We have horses, geese, ducks and chickens so still had to do the daily chores but lots of rest in-between.
