You must be forgetting that Trump screwed Russia big time when he bought 77 million barrels of oil from Saudi Arabia on March 13, 2020. The two countries were bickering over pricing when Trump stepped in and solved Saudi Arabia's problem. Trump completely replenished our Strategic Petroleum Reserves. I doubt Putin was happy about that.
