<quote>and what happens when they die?</quote>

This author is trying to shame Americans who have provided these terrorists with dry sanitary living conditions, three meals daily of the most nutritious food they've ever had in their lives, that conforms to their Islamic standards of Halal (basically pork free), athletic work-out facilities, a library, individual qur'ans and prayer rugs, etc, etc.

Shame on us.

Cry me a river.

We haven't ignored them.

Rush Limbaugh even had "Camp Gitmo" t-shirts printed up that can be purchased in order to show our support.

This author doesn't realize that the countries of most of these prisoners refuse to take them back because they know they are not going to change.

They took a sacred oath to die for Allah, and their countries and kinsmen feel that they should have fulfilled that oath, rather than being captured.

Maybe they finally realized after all these years that they must give their lives in order to support Allah. Yep, that has to be the problem since most all of them are living a lot better there than they would at home. Too many of them won't be accepted at home if we try to ship them back, and the rest will just go to Afghanistan to do what they do best.
