For selfish reasons I must admit.
Under Martial Law, my company is under contract with the Dept. Of Transportation.
We would be required to provide 24/7 traffic surveillance surveys, movement counts, and heavy vehicle video capture.
We would be getting a pretty paycheck for it all too.

This popped into my brain today...
I believe that all this may very well be a test...a test to see how far they can go and we'll go along with it. Preparing us for what I don't know but I believe that it certainly ties into the end times we're in.

We are in the end times IMO. Whether that be one year or fifty. Some things yet to be completed before that happens. I believe this is just another very virulent flu. When populations get to large bad things happen.

I have major concerns about 'the government' (federal/state/local) cancelling things and mandating major interruptions. This is setting a bad precedence for everyone - except those in favor of control by "Big Brother" (federal/state/local).
